Drake’s Music Takes Short Break As He Surprises Fans At Wimbledon [Video]
While Drake’s music had been the thriving point of many at London’s Wireless 2015 festival, it seems that Drizzy took time out to visit Serena at Wimbledon.
As you may know, Drake is no stranger to sports. While he enjoys American sports, he doesn’t shy away from worldwide sports, especially those that help diversify his fanbase. In recent soccer-social news, Drizzy was seen scoring against Chelsea’s Didier Drogba. Though it was only for fun, the video did trend among fans.
More recently, Drake’s appearance at Wimbledon has sparked several conversations online.
Drake has good seats at Wimbledon, although you’d think he would’ve been in Serena’s box. Wait, that sounded weird.

While Drake’s fashion has appeared to change recently, it seems as if he’s come to prefer a more relaxed look in a long-sleeve garment and athletics shorts.

While at Wimbledon, a reporter mistook him for United Kingdom R&B singer Craig David. The reporter claims to have known it was Drake. However, he deleted the initial tweet and, days later, made a comment that would suggest that he may not own all Drizzy’s albums, as mentioned.
Ok I knew it was Drake, I’ve got all his records at home – prob why I do sport not showbiz ?? pic.twitter.com/gpLF77qg4n

While he’s singing a rendition of TLC‘s “No Scrubs,” he does have a large following around the world. However, just to give an idea of fanbase measurement, Drake’s Twitter followers — 23.7 million; Craig’s Twitter followers — 269,000.
