Teen Girl Beats Up Alleged Harasser At Police Station In Viral Video

A video of a spunky schoolgirl beating her alleged harasser inside a police station in Uttar Pradesh, India has gone viral for all the right reasons.

The girl reportedly stopped the stalker on his motorcycle by blocking it with her bicycle right in front of the police station before proceeding to drag him inside the building where the thrashing took place.

The footage shows the schoolgirl repeatedly hitting the boy with her fists and then her shoe. She also made him touch her feet as a sign of apology.

The police who were present at the scene did nothing to interfere with the girl’s beating and a voice could even be heard egging her on.

The boy is accused of harassing girls outside Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College and hurling abuse at them. But when the abuse grew worse, the girl decided to act.

“He used to pass lewd comments when girls passed by,” she later told ANI. “I could take it no longer and decided to teach him a lesson by taking him to the police and beating him up.”

The harasser, or “eve-teaser” as he’s referred to in the Indian media, was let off with an apology as the girl did not file an official complaint.

Eve-teasing, described as “the use of sexual innuendo, making of indecent suggestions and sometimes minor physical sexual harassment (e.g. ‘accidental’ touching or pinching). An expression used widely on the Indian Sub-continent” – is apparently a big issue in India.

So much so that there is even a special squad of plain-clothes female police officers that patrol the streets to catch harassing culprits.
