News of Mackenzie Douthit’s adult film hit the web last week.
Vivid Entertainment, who has obtained the video, released a statement Monday. Speaking to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Vivid executive Steve Hirsch confirmed he would love to feature Mackenzie Douthit in the next Teen Mom adult film.
“We would love to work with Mackenzie. Ultimately the decision is hers and I look forward to meeting with her to discuss.”
As fans will recall, Vivid Entertainment was behind the release of Farrah Abraham’s Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, the first Teen Mom adult film, which was a major hit for the brand. Because of the success of Abraham’s film, Hirsh would reportedly like to add Mackenzie Douthit, as well as Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, to his company. So far, however, Evans is not on board.
“We approached Jenelle as we believe a s– tape with her would be a huge success. She’s currently not interested but we’ll see what the future brings.”
While Hirsh didn’t confirm the release of Mackenzie Douthit, he certainly gave fans reason to believe it was possible. Although Mackenzie Douthit’s lawyer reportedly issued a notice to Hirsh, as well as Vivid Entertainment, claiming the married reality star and mother of two did not want the clip to see the light of day, Hirsh made it sound as if he and Douthit would soon begin negotiations.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, celebrity adult film expert Kevin Blatt claimed Mackenzie Douthit would likely release the film, despite her legal letter to the brand. In an interview with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Blatt explained that TMZ doesn’t print stories if they don’t have a solid confirmation of it being true.
“[Mackenzie is] 100% in bed with Vivid. TMZ will only print sex tape stories where they now know the celebrity is in on the deal. You must have USC 2257 Paperwork to accompany any tape (this includes releases) as well as identification.”
“[Mackenzie Douthit] is looking to extend her 15 minutes of fame by shilling this s– tape,” Blatt continued. “This has become a viable way of making the public know who they are these days. This tape will not sell primarily because her popularity isn’t that big. What Vivid is hoping for is that unknowing people will come to their site in droves and hopefully sign up for another product they may offer–such as the Kim K sex tape.”
Mackenzie Douthit has not released a statement in regard to the film.
