Steven Tyler’s Country Music Video Is Killing It, And It’s So Hot It ‘Nearly Burnt His Eyebrows Off’ [WATCH]

Steven Tyler's country music debut is killing it.

Steven Tyler’s country music debut may seem odd to his rocker following, but the Aerosmith frontman is killing it in his latest “Love Is Your Name” video.

Steven Tyler’s country music debut had its own hiccups, with an on-set accident that nearly burned Tyler’s eyebrows off, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. Tyler told People magazine that a bonfire set for the video got a little too close for comfort.

“During the chorus, we had a big bonfire going. I burnt my eyebrows off, but it was worth it. We went through [the sequence] and the wind blew. The jacket I wore had little fur pieces on it and I could smell the burn on it. It blew the flames right at me!”

According to the 67-year-old rocker, Steven Tyler’s country foray may come as a surprise to his hard-core fans, but Tyler said he’s been a little bit country since his childhood.

“I grew up with the Everly Brothers. There’s a piece of me that just loves country so much. And I’m not sure what kind of country that is, but it’s got the fifth harmony, and anyone who knows who the Everly Brothers is — it’s those kinds of melodies that are just so, so good.”

Steven Tyler’s country debut video features aspects of those early memories and his life, including the cabin where he grew up, the many phases of his life, and his return to his country music roots. We even get a reminder of Tyler’s cherished childhood pet.

“Growing up, I lived in a cabin by the lake and I had a pet raccoon. I told that to [director] Trey Fanjoy, so she put it in the video.”

Steven Tyler’s country debut was first announced last fall and a deal with Big Machine, who represents other mega-country stars like Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift, was finalized in April.

As reported by E! News, Steven Tyler’s country video was filmed in Nashville and features the rocker-turned-country singer sporting a ridiculously cool mustache to accompany his already country-cool long brown hair. He is decked out in a super-sexy flowing white shirt opened halfway to show off his chest, paired with tight, tan pants.

Let’s hope Steven Tyler’s country debut, “Love Is Your Name,” is not his last offering in the genre.
