Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Ready For Civil Lawsuit, Says Source

Although Nick Gordon remains the primary suspect in the criminal investigation into what happened to Bobbi Kristina Brown, an undisclosed insider revealed recently that he’s ready to take on the current civil lawsuit he’s facing in order to prove his innocence.

Us Weekly reports that Gordon, 26, who has always maintained his innocence in regards to Bobbi Kristina’s unfortunate incident, wants to prove to the public that he’s not guilty of what is being alleged against him. An insider who communicates with Gordon indicates that he is not worried about his upcoming civil case. In fact, he’s excited for the trial.

“Nick is excited for the trial in the civil case to start because he can finally tell his side of the story.”

The civil lawsuit, filed earlier this year by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, states that Gordon stole $11,000 from Bobbi Kristina while she lay comatose in the hospital.

It also accuses him of physical abuse, including punching Bobbi Kristina, knocking out her teeth, and pulling her up a staircase by her hair. The lawsuit is seeking $10 million in damages.

However, the negative publicity seems to be getting to Gordon. The insider also revealed that Gordon is exhibiting frequent mood swings, caused by being attacked by media outlets as well as the public.

“Nick is very concerned with how he is being portrayed in the media and reads everything about himself on every website and magazine. He’s been going through intense mood swings, going from being on top of the world to crying hysterically for long periods.”

Gordon is still trying to see Bobbi Kristina, the source adds, especially before she passes away. Yet, he is still banned from visiting her after failing to explain in writing exactly what happened on January 31 that led to Bobbi Kristina being found comatose in her bathtub, with several unusual bruises and marks on her body.

“Nick’s main concern seems to be seeing Bobbi before she dies. He’s constantly trying to find a way to make that happen.”

Fulton County court records indicate that one of Bobbi Kristina’s family members previously felt threatened by Gordon. In 2014, Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, placed a restraining order on Gordon for domestic violence after he implied threats by showing off guns on his social media accounts.

Court records also indicate that Gordon was arrested for reckless driving in 2012 and for DUI in 2014, which led to a serious wreck. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Neither the Houston family nor the Brown family have commented on Gordon’s recent request to see Bobbi Kristina Brown before she passes. She’s currently at the Peachtree Christian Hospice center in Duluth, Georgia.
