Bobby Brown Nears Breaking Point As Bobbi Kristina Fades

Time is ticking away for Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, as she remains in hospice care. Along with the family of his late wife, Whitney Houston, Brown is sitting vigil and waiting for the inevitable.

Bobby Brown, along with the Houston family, made a last desperate effort to find some hope for Bobbi Kristina, and they have been working together for the first time in a long time.

“It is no secret that Bobby does not get along with Whitney’s family. There’s a lot of deep animosity on both sides. But both Bobby and the Houstons have made the conscious decision that they love Krissy more than they dislike each other. They are truly working together right now and there is no discourse,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

Bobby Brown and the Houston family sought a second opinion out of state, but they are now resigned to letting Bobbi Kristina pass naturally after she was found in January floating face down in a bathtub. The two families have been with Bobbi Kristina at a hospice facility in Georgia since.

Brown’s friend of 40 years, Ricky Bell (of Bell, Biv, Devoe and New Edition) is concerned about his old friend’s mental state, saying that there is only so much one person can take. He believes there is no way to comfort him right now as her waits for his daughter to pass. His heart goes out to the Brown and Houston families.

Currently, Bobby Brown is still scheduled to perform at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater in Atlanta on their July 4th concert. There is no mention of whether or not he will cancel, but Bobbi Kristina, or Krissie as family and friends call her, is surrounded by loved ones.

But controversy always swirls around Bobby Brown and family, and the latest incident will likely spark another round conflict with the press. Late yesterday, a photo emerged of Bobbi Kristina Brown in her hospice bed. TMZ reported that the photo showed a woman (thought to be a family member) hovering over Bobbi Kristina. The photo was reportedly taken by an extended family member. The photo is now being shopped and sold to various media outlets.

Bobby Brown and the Houston family are now searching for a burial plot in Westfield, New Jersey where Whitney Houston is buried. At this sad and difficult time, fans and friends of the Houston and Brown families are keeping Bobbi Kristina in their thoughts and prayers.
