Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady face a country club conundrum. And those issues that could get the supreme supermodel and Patriots quarterback banned from banquets and golf greens are linked to their fame and to the DeflateGate debate that still rages for Brady, reported the New York Daily News .
For Gisele and Tom, country club admittance has always been one of the perks that accompany life as one of the nation’s most recognizable high-powered couples. But now they face resistance in their desire to join Brookline, Massachusetts’ The Country Club (TCC).
TCC is well-known for valuing the art of discretion. And with Brady immersed in DeflateGate and his high-profile supermodel wife constantly photographed, Gisele and Tom aren’t exactly the prize clientele that the other country club members desire, said some members to the Boston Globe .
“I don’t know what they’ll do about Brady,” admitted one local businessperson. “The Country Club believes your name should appear in the newspaper just two times: When you’re born and when you die.”
Although Gisele and Tom’s application has been confirmed, no decision has been made. The Country Club’s general manager carefully phrased his response.
“When it comes to issues related to members or membership, it’s our policy not to comment,” stated David Chag, the general manager of TCC. “It’s a private club, and we don’t answer those kinds of questions.”
But for those whose lives revolve around sports, it’s the place to be, making it all the more desirable for Gisele and Tom. The Country Club has been the host to the U.S. Open and is among the five founding clubs of the United States Golf Association.
Golf Digest ranks TCC high on the list of the nation’s top best golf courses. If the Olympic Games are hosted by Boston in 2024, The Country Club could become a venue with its curling rink, pool, courts, and more.
In addition to Gisele and Tom, The Country Club’s high-profile neighbors include Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Reebok creator Paul Fireman.

But it remains to be seen if TCC will allow Brady and Bundchen to cross into its sacred grounds. As the Inquisitr reported, supermodel Gisele most recently got attention for baring her booty and body in an ad campaign. At the same time, Tom is dealing with the fallout from DeflateGate and is to sit out the first four games of the 2015 NFL season.
