Bill Hudson Slams Ex Goldie Hawn And Kids Oliver And Kate Hudson, ‘My Kids Are Dead To Me’

Bill Hudson, Goldie Hawn’s ex, is speaking out about allegations that he was an absentee father. The biological father of Oliver and Kate Hudson says he is breaking all ties with the children he allegedly abandoned.

What Oliver and Kate Hudson did on Father’s Day, Bill Hudson tells the Daily Mail, has caused irreparable damage to their father-child relationships. According to Goldie Hawn’s ex, he no longer considers Oliver and Kate his children.

“I say to them now, ‘I set you free.’ I had five birth children but I now consider myself a father of three. I no longer recognize Oliver and Kate as my own. I would ask them to stop using the Hudson name. They are no longer a part of my life. Oliver’s Instagram post was a malicious, vicious, premeditated attack. He is dead to me now. As is Kate. I am mourning their loss even though they are still walking this earth.”

Bill Hudson’s disowning his two eldest children comes a week after Oliver Hudson took the opportunity to slam his biological father on Father’s Day, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, by posting a photo of himself and sister Kate with their biological dad and dubbing the day Abandonment Day.

Goldie’s ex says Kate Hudson twisted the knife a bit further by thanking stepdad Kurt Russell instead of her biological dad.

Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson divorced in 1981 after five years of marriage, but Hudson insists he was involved in both Kate and Oliver Hudson’s lives until Goldie met Kurt in 1983. This, Hudson claims, is when all three relationships changed as Goldie used her fame and fortune to alienate him from his kids.

“I call it parental alienation. We had a custody arrangement but Goldie constantly flouted it. I’d turn up to see the kids and would discover Goldie had taken them on the private jet to her home in Colorado.

“She gave interviews about her wonderful relationship with Kurt and how the kids called him ‘Pa.’ She described me as an absent father. I’d call her and go ‘Goldie, how can you say that?’ But she’d just reply, ‘It’s a better story.’ I wanted to be a father to Kate and Oliver but Goldie made it harder and harder for me to see them. It’s all about control. What Goldie wants, Goldie gets.”

Hudson maintains he battled Hawn in court for years. However, when Kate and Oliver were teens, he decided to stop fighting and told the kids his door was always open to them. His oldest son would visit, but daughter Kate drifted away. Bill also says he wrote to his children every week, but does not know if the two ever received the letters. Contrary to Kate Hudson’s claims she never received acknowledgement of her birthday from her biological dad, Bill says that is simply not true.

“Rubbish! I sent birthday cards every year. I ring her up every birthday, still do. The same with Oliver. I bumped into Oliver fairly recently in a supermarket in Malibu and he gave me a hug.”

Bill Hudson says Oliver’s Father Day attack may have been a publicity stunt on his son’s part, but as far as he is concerned, the relationship is over.

“If what he wanted was me out of their lives, then he’s succeeded. I don’t want to see either of my eldest children ever again. It’s over.”
