There’s a chance the Brock Lesnar feud with Seth Rollins might not be long-lasting. After the WWE champion stole the belt from Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, he got indefinitely suspended by Stephanie McMahon for hitting an F5 on “defenseless” people, including Michael Cole. That was the storyline to get Brock Lesnar off WWE television.
Now he’s back, and wants the WWE championship back. With WWE SummerSlam around the corner, rumors are flying about what Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, and Triple H will do. First, a top-WWE star is supposed to turn heel before SummerSlam. Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and Dean Ambrose are among the logical names listed.
Second, Triple H and Seth Rollins were rumored to wrestle at SummerSlam. WWE Creative already hinted at a potential feud between the two. Since the Authority is such a big part of WWE TV, Triple H wouldn’t play the babyface. It’s unsure if McMahon can play a babyface herself right now, given her character.
Third, Cageside Seats is reporting that the match between Seth Rollins and Triple H could be put off and they reveal who might be the one turning babyface.
Rollins, by the way, could be turning babyface soon anyway.
When Seth Rollins was still the architect of the shield, he played a great face to the WWE Universe. Alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, the Shield became very successful in their own right, both as heels and faces. Now, they are all singles’ wrestlers who want the same thing. It appears that Ambrose is done feuding with Seth Rollins, unless he is put in the match with Lesnar and Rollins at WWE Battleground.
Roman Reigns is feuding with Bray Wyatt, which got a very intriguing part to it last week on WWE RAW. When Wyatt showed up during the Roman Reigns promo, he appeared in his backstage area doing the usual: a classic promo. Near the end of it, Wyatt lifted up a picture of Reigns and his daughter that was taken during the commercial they did together.
Their feud will only lift up both WWE superstars in the eyes of WWE officials. Lastly, this rumor is the most-exciting for WWE fans. In the report above, it also talks about how Kevin Owens might face Brock Lesnar for the WWE championship. Yes, that statement is accurate.
WWE fans will get the best of both worlds with Lesnar and Owens. Despite his act as a monster heel, fans want to see more of Owens. The powerbomb to Machine Gun Kelly certainly helped the WWE purists settle their minds. Brock Lesnar is a powerhouse and a safe worker. That could headline WWE SummerSlam, which would be huge for the NXT champion.
