Has Claudia Jordan really been fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta? If so, she may already have her sights on being a housewife on a different show. Early Sunday morning, Claudia joked about joining The Real Housewives of the Caribbean.
Claudia, who is currently in Jamaica, is loving the island so much that she tweeted that she belongs there. She mentioned that perhaps Bravo and Andy Cohen should start a new show that follows women in that region.
Was Claudia’s Instagram post an acknowledgement that she has indeed been dropped from the Atlanta show? On Saturday, TMZ reported that Claudia, who has been on the show for only one season, won’t be back for the upcoming eighth season. The website stated that filming begins next month and that the show’s producers haven’t decided yet whether they will invite Claudia back to make guest appearances.
The website further implied that the producers dropped Claudia in order to appease NeNe Leakes, with whom Claudia made the mistake of fighting with right off the bat. “NeNe Leakes always wins,” the article concluded. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Claudia said in late March that she wasn’t afraid of NeNe and that her epic argument with NeNe in Puerto Rico, which viewers saw on Season 7, was just a warm-up for what’s to come.
It seems that if Claudia has been dropped, she hasn’t been notified of the decision yet. Hours after TMZ‘s report, Claudia said that the decision is news to her. She later seemed to reiterate her surprise with some emoijs.
Yet later on in the day, in response to a fan who said that she wrote a letter protesting her firing from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Claudia Jordan said that she’ll read the letter. Tellingly, she didn’t deny her firing or state that she has yet to hear of an official decision.
