Scott Disick’s Fathers Day Request: An Open Relationship

Scott Disick’s Father’s Day request from Kourtney Kardashian this year is a bit over-the-top, even for him. Radar Online reports that 32-year-old Disick skipped the fancy ties and macaroni picture frames. No tricked out car or swanky watch will do the trick. This year, Disick wants one thing: an open relationship.

The request couldn’t come at a worse time in the couple’s relationship, say insiders. Even though Kourtney Kardashian reported nixed the idea as soon as Disick made the request, that won’t prevent the inevitable hit to the notoriously rocky 9-year relationship.

“Kourtney is disgusted, of course. She was hoping he’d check into rehab, finally set a wedding date and was even hoping to have one more baby.”

Kourtney Kardashian’s main response seems to be reminding Disick of what he would be walking away from in a very public way. Recently, Kardashian took to her Instagram account to show off her hard-earned post-baby body.

Meanwhile, Disick’s response has been less positive.

For what it’s worth, Disick might have no choice but to ignore what people think of him, particularly after the past few months, which are best described as a public relations nightmare. Disick’s years-long struggle with substance abuse culminated in a trip to the emergency room for alcohol poisoning last year. After the birth of Reign, Disick’s third child with Kardashian, Disick seemed to finally tame his hard-partying nature. Then came a drunken appearance in England and a notorious one week stay at a rehab facility in Costa Rica.

At the time, Disick said he planned to return to rehab at some point in the future, and for a few months, things seemed alright. Disick made a handful of club appearances, but witnesses said he never touched any alcohol. At least not until this month’s Montreal nightclub fiasco.

Disick was scheduled to attend a charity meet-and-greet followed by a party at the Times Supper Club in Montreal. Instead, Disick arrived at the club several hours late, far too late for the meet-and-greet, which promoters cancelled due to safety concerns. According to Times Supper Club marketing manager, Thierry Havitov, Disick only stayed at the club for an hour before he and his entourage left. Multiple sources claimed Disick was intoxicated.

Yet, there are signs that the Kardashian family still has some hope that Disick can turn things around. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West staged an intervention for Disick. There’s no word on whether or not Disick took the intervention to heart, but one thing is certain. Father’s Day in the Kardashian-Disick household will be rough this year.
