‘Bachelorette’ 2015 Final Rose Spoilers: Reality Steve Wrong About Season 11 Ending? [Updated]

Fans of ABC’s The Bachelorette 2015 season were left stunned Friday night when a social media post from Kaitlyn Bristowe seemingly turned the Season 11 spoilers upside down. Reality Steve’s spoilers for the season had laid out how that highly-anticipated final rose ceremony supposedly went, but did he get it wrong?

Reality Steve’s spoilers that came out shortly after Season 11 stopped filming indicated that there may be no fairy tale ending this season. Though there is said to be a final rose ceremony, and there is at least one proposal, Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers claim that there actually is no winner. Steve has reported that Nick Viall and Shawn Booth are the last two standing, but that there is no final rose offered and no engagement as Kaitlyn Bristowe reportedly left alone and did not continue a relationship with either of her final two guys.

Now, however, there is some serious reason to doubt those Bachelorette spoilers. In earlier seasons, the contestants were held back from posting on social media as the season aired. In recent seasons, though, that rule has seemingly gone out the window.

As a result, there have been some spoilers revealed here and there thanks to social media. For example, Josh Murray and Andi Dorfman essentially confirmed Reality Steve’s spoilers about them being together last year when their Snapchat favorites showed frequent activity between them. In addition, a lot of Bachelorette spoiler fans were confident that Emily Maynard and Jef Holm were indeed together based on their social media posts that came out prior to the finale.

As it happens, the current Bachelorette spoiler snafu comes via Snapchat, too. Many fans know that Kaitlyn Bristowe is a frequent Snapchat user, and Friday night she shared a quick video. It disappeared quickly, but not quickly enough for the details of the video spread like wildfire. In this case, Kaitlyn wasn’t alone. She was in bed, talking about what was probably a video game competition, and she was next Shawn Booth.

The video was taken down very quickly, but not before many fans recorded it on their own devices or took screencaps. Even Reality Steve tweeted links to the screencaps, though he has yet to address the bombshell in any detail. Most would imagine he’s scrambling to connect with sources and see how this all pieces together. Many who are Snapchat users suspect that this video was meant to be saved or shared privately and was accidentally added to the “story” screen instead, as the buttons are close together and many users make the same mistake with their own videos.

Could it be an old video that was posted? Some wonder if that is the case, or if it could be a hoax. However, at this point, the most likely scenario seems to be the one that Kaitlyn accidentally posted the video in the midst of a safe house visit with Shawn and quickly deleted it upon realizing her mistake.

Though many outlets have now reported on the snafu, ABC has not acknowledged the issue or shared a comment. Fans have noticed, however, that both Kaitlyn and Shawn were quickly whisked away to separate locations, where they could be linked up with other former contestants and have their images splashed across social media in what seems to be an attempt to distract curious fans.

If, indeed, Kaitlyn and Shawn are happily together and having safe house visits, what does that mean for Reality Steve’s spoilers? That, of course, is the big question, and fans are dying for answers. There are a lot of theories floating around, but nothing is known for certain.

Were Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers about the final rose ceremony simply wrong? That may be the most logical explanation, and this wouldn’t be the first time he got the final rose spoilers wrong. Fans would be quick to point out that Steve’s spoilers were wrong about Desiree Hartsock’s final rose and were wrong throughout much of the season in Ali Fedotowsky’s case, as well.

There is also the theory that perhaps Reality Steve’s spoilers about Bristowe’s final rose were right, in that there was no fairy tale ending with a final rose and engagement at the time of filming. However, that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t a change of heart and reconciliation with Booth that came up sometime in the last five weeks or so since filming ended.

At this point, all Bachelorette spoiler fans know is that despite Reality Steve’s spoilers about no lasting love story this time around, there does seem to be a romance actively playing out now. Will ABC ever address this shocker? How will it all come together when it’s time for the finale and the “After the Final Rose” ceremony?

One way or another, Reality Steve will have to tackle this development and that will likely take place in his column on Tuesday. Did he get the Season 11 final rose ceremony Bachelorette spoilers wrong, or did something about the situation change for Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth after filming the finale? Tune in to ABC’s The Bachelorette 2015 season airing on Monday nights to see how the groundwork is laid for the rest of this dramatic season.

Updated: An update on Reality Steve’s spoilers indicate that indeed he got it wrong about the final rose ceremony. Now Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers detail that there is a happy ending ahead for Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, a big relief for fans who thought she ended up going home alone. Does he have it right now? Fans will find out as the rest of Season 11 plays out.
