Sofia Vergara Relies On Accent, Cleavage On SNL Debut [Video]

Sofia Vergara made her hosting debut on “Saturday Night Live” last night. The Colombian actress delivered the funny in sketches that were primarily focused on her heritage or her sex appeal.

Vergara started the show saying:

“Forgive me if you cannot understand what I say… And I will forgive you for staring at my chest the whole night.”

The star of “Modern Family” did impersonate one celebrity last night. During a skit called “Bein’ Quirky with Zooey Deschanel,” Vergara did her best Fran Descher impression. Michael Cera (Taran Killam), Drew Barrymore (Kristin Wiig), and Mayim Bialik (Andy Samberg), also joined in the fun during the sketch.

Vergara also played a sex ed teacher and an announcer at “The Hunger Games” during last night’s episode of SNL.

In one sketch, Vergara was joined by Penelope Cruz (Kate McKinnon) to in a fake commercial for Pantene. Vergara was given words like ” aloe” to say while Cruz was saddle with the ingredients like “phytomorphogenesis.”
