Test cricket aficionados can watch live online as dominant Australia look to finish off West Indies on just the fourth day of their second and final Test Match on the pre-Ashes Australia tour of the Caribbean islands. An apparently overmatched West Indies side at least has survived longer than they managed to do in the First Test.
In that match, Went Indies did not even make it to the end of the third day before the visitors, batting second, easily overtook their total of 364 (148/10 and 216/10) just five overs into their second innings for an seemingly effortless nine-wicket win.
To find out how to watch Day 4 of the 2nd Australia vs. West Indies Test Match live online, see the information at the bottom of this article. Play is scheduled to get underway at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, with a start time of 10 a.m. local time — which is 11 a.m. United States Eastern Time, 8 a.m. Pacific, because Jamaica does not observe Daylight Savings Time.
When Australia takes to the pitch to deliver the first ball, West Indies will have eight wickets remaining to collect 376 runs for the win. Australia Captain Michael Clarke showed supreme confidence in his side’s bowling attack with a surprise declaration after a second innings of just 212/2.
And World Cup hero Mitchell Starc did everything to reward Clarke’s faith, blowing away not just one but both of the West Indies openers, each for a duck. For Kraigg Brathwaite, the dismissal must have been dispiriting enough.
But Rajendra Chandrika had also gone for a duck in the first innings, making him only the second West Indies batsman and the first since 1950 to go off for a pair on his Test debut.
West Indies managed to scrape together six runs before stumps, but will start fresh on Sunday morning, Day 4, with two days to hold off Australia from taking those last eight wickets, hoping for at least a draw in the match.
