Jessica Alba, And Her Billion-Dollar, Boss-Babe Style, Has Got Our Attention
Jessica Alba has always been a style queen. However, in the past, the notable actress-turned-CEO was more known for her trendy and hype street-wear as opposed to pencil skirts and blazers. Leather jackets and slim-fit denim were her staple back in the day. How things have changed. Alba’s billion dollar business has definitely got her dressing the part.
Launching The Honest Company back in 2012, which is a service that offers bundles of safe baby, childcare, and household essentials by delivery, and has just recently hit the $1 billion mark in valuation, Alba soon jumped on the business-wear train in order to look the part. She’s taken on the role so well, she even recently graced the cover of Forbes for her billion dollar success story.
People Magazine relays Jessica’s inspiration for beginning the business that has now got her dressing like a modern day Jackie O.
“I felt like my needs weren’t being met as a modern person. I want beautiful design like everybody else. But it shouldn’t be premium-priced, and it should, of course, be safe.”
For the most recent events at which Alba was making an appearance as spokesperson for her company, and honored guest for her achievements, Jessica spared no fashion sense and People Style Watch was quick to hone in on the 35-year-old’s fabulous looks. The publication noted that she arrived at “an event for her billion dollar business, in N.Y.C. Thursday, wearing a beautiful fabric-feathered Giambattista Valli dress that went with the floral motif of the event.” The beautiful mother of two topped the look off with a hip denim jacket and Bionda Castana footwear.
Alba was calling on the boardroom look with her sophisticated and strong-looking fitted gray Narciso Rodriguez dress, which she was garbed in for the Forbes panel on Wednesday. Alba made sure to add a bit of soft-femininity with a Casedei pump to finish off the chic look.
For a Zico event on Tuesday, Alba once again brought a pop of color in a lovely Rokasanda dress and paired this with the same Castana heels worn later that week.
