New ‘Voice’ Coach Gwen Stefani Steps Out for Much-Needed Family Time

Stylish star Gwen Stefani was seen stepping out with family on Sunday afternoon for some well-deserved family time. The family of five with nanny in tow was spotted going to a California cinema to spend the afternoon. It will be one of the first times in a long while that Stefani has been able to enjoy the time with her family, thanks to her busy schedule.

Keeping it casual, yet stylish as ever, Gwen made a statement with her Rialto paint splattered jeans paired with her striped shirt and bleached denim jacket. The jeans perfectly represents her typical style, which is generally a feminine look with a little punk thrown in just for fun. Her bleached hair was neatly, yet casually styled in a side bun with a section of dip dyed locks hanging loosely to the side of her face.

Her family looked equally good with 14-month-old Apollo strapped to her chest in a baby carrier, and 8-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma, and 49-year-old Gavin Rossdale at her side. The nanny followed closely, carrying bags and goodies for the kids. The family was spotted talking, smiling, and laughing on their way to see a family friendly flick.

Gwen Stefani has been touring with her reunited No Doubt crew for festival performances, traveling to cities all across North America, including several California locations, Venezuela, Nashville, Dallas, Kansas City, Chicago, and more. The tour was inspired by their latest album release Rock Steady, which ran until mid-May. They’re to begin other festival shows including Kaaboo and Riot Fest this September.

When she’s not touring, Stefani is working on her third solo album, which came as a bit of a surprise to both Gwen fans and herself. She said that she was done pursuing the solo career in 2010.

“I didn’t know I was going to be doing another record. I always thought those two [solo] records would be back in the day.”

The album has a yet-to-be-announced release date, but it’s rumored to happen in late 2015.

In other news, Stefani fans are thrilled to hear that the Indie pop star will be returning to The Voice stage as a coach, despite rumors that she would never be invited back. The announcement, which came on Wednesday, was an exciting surprise to both fans and fellow coaches. She’ll be replacing Christina Aguilera once again, and joining Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharell Williams.

Fans are excited to see this development for Season 9 of the hit show, but for now, it’s nice to know that the new Voice coach, Gwen Stefani, had the chance to step out for some needed family time this past weekend.
