Rob Kardashian, Spotted After 100-Pound Weight Gain, Feels Kris Jenner Exploited Him For Ratings [Video]

Rob Kardashian, spotted in Los Angeles after vanishing from the public spotlight for months, has become the missing link in the closely knit Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan. And now, after his 100-pound weight gain that his mother Kris Jenner discussed on the reality TV show, many are asking just what’s wrong with the only Kardashian son, reported People.

Now 28, Rob lives in the elite California neighborhood of Calabasas, near his famous sisters and mother. All of them have attempted to hold interventions to help him, but no one’s quite sure what’s going on to cause his weight gain and retreat, said an insider.

“He’s sad, he’s bitter, he’s single,” revealed one source.

In addition, added the insider, Kardashian suffers from long-term depression. He contrasts his life with his out-and-about successful sisters.

“He is very depressed and has been…It’s really hard for him that his sisters are so public and he looks like the shut-in,” noted the source.

But will Rob return to the show, or has he been permanently eliminated from Keeping Up With The Kardashians? Before the tenth season even began, producers decided to cut Rob as one of the main characters on the reality TV show, according to Cosmopolitan.

And a recent family photo, labeled Family First, noticeably excluded Rob.

Adding to Rob’s unhappiness, he feels betrayed by the family after they discussed his weight gain and personal problems on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, reported the Mirror.

“He’s angry that his personal challenges have been minimized to mere high ratings for the show. He feels like no one understands him except Lamar [Odom; Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband]. He’s deleted all the pictures off his Instagram,” said a source close to the family.

In addition, Rob feels that his family, lead by matriarch Kris Jenner, betrayed him and exploited his problems to boost the ratings, said the insider.

“He’s frustrated and feels like this whole weight thing on the show is like a broken record,” added the insider. “It’s like ratings come before him. That his family is more concerned with fame and ratings, than with his actual well being.”

Moreover, the show featured scenes in which Rob was overheard requesting money, desiring to borrow a housekeeper, or asking for something. Other members of the family also spoke about him unfavorably.

“Everyone licks Rob’s a**. Ok we will drive you around with a chauffeur so people don’t have to look at you. We had a personal chef on stand by, a trainer. People get sent out to buy him underpants,” accused Kim on one episode.

As the Inquisitr reported, some reports recently indicated that Rob had gone to rehab to receive treatment for issues that, beyond his 100-pound weight gain, included alcohol, codeine-laced cough syrup, and marijuana.

However, Kris Jenner denied those reports as fabricated.
