Ed Sheeran’s Paradox

Ed Sheeran is a very popular British singer, and according to the latest research of Spotify, his songs are something people tend to listen to during the happiest moments of their lives.

And that is true – the Pulse reports that one of Ed Sheeran’s song is currently a favorite choice of young couples for their wedding night.

“John Legend’s heartfelt ballad ‘All of Me’ is the top pick to be played during a couple’s special night around the globe. Also among the must-haves throughout the reception is Bruno Mars, ‘Marry You.’ Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’ is the most popular track of choice for couples first dance.”

Not only this singer provides his fans with songs one might want to hear on the happiest day of his life, but he also knows how to treat those who favor his music. For example, just a couple days ago, the singer went out to the small town’s pub during his tour in Canada and let every willing fan to take photo with him, according to the Inquisitr.

“Sheeran happily posed for selfies with passing fans at the popular night spot. Barney’s tweeted, ‘Yes, Ed Sheeran was at Barney’s patio last night. It was a pretty big deal.'”

Lucky Sheeran fans who went out for a drink that night caused a lot of social media buzz in the city as they posted their selfies for the less fortunate to weep over. “Ed Sheeran takin a selfie on my phone. No big deal. He’s a super great and nice guy,” said Stevensonbone2 in his Instagram post.

One would think that someone who acts like Sheeran is actually nice towards his fans. However, one of his loyal listeners never got singer’s attention, though he has much more reasons to want it than everybody else. First, they look alike, second – the guy is very ill, according to the Telegraph.

A teenage Ed Sheeran “lookalike” is appealing to the singer to “make contact” with him as he battles a life-threatening illness.

Jesse-James Canty, who lives in Auckland, New Zealand looks so much like the British pop star his family claim he “could pass as Ed’s twin”.

The 19-year-old’s hopes of seeing his hero sing live in December were dashed by a series of strokes and kidney failure, after which he was put in an induced coma for three weeks last month.

Despite being out of the coma, Mr. Canty is desperately ill in hospital as he waits for a kidney transplant in September.

Hopefully, Ed Sheeran will find time to visit someone who desperately wants to meet him in such conditions – because it really looks like a paradox that the singer still did not pay any attention to Canty’s attempts to reach him.
