Alexis Bledel, ‘Gilmore Girls’ Cast Party It Up At Reunion

Alexis Bledel got together with the rest of the cast members for the ultra-popular and long-ago-cancelled Gilmore Girls on Saturday night. Alexis Bledel, Lauren Gilmore, Jared Padalecki, and company partied until the wee hours of the night at the ATX Television festival in Austin, Texas, and it appeared to be an enjoyable time. One particular picture shows Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham hugging it up like they really are mother and daughter.

Graham posted the picture on her Twitter feed with the simple caption, “I’ve missed you, @alexisbledel.” While the years have certainly been kind to Alexis Bledel, you can certainly tell there has been some growing up done by the actress, who has always looked younger than she really is. Graham, on the other hand, looks quite a bit like she did when the show first began.

Lauren Graham actually made it possible for fans of the show to see all kinds of pictures of the big reunion, posting pics of herself and Alexis Bledel, as well as other cast members who likely hadn’t seen each other in years. Graham gushed about getting to see Alexis Bledel, who played her on-screen daughter again after spending so many years with the two having their careers taking them in separate directions.

While Alexis Bledel and her on-screen mother might have made most of the headlines, it was people like Scott G. Patterson and Keiko Agena that made the night special for the actors as well as the fans of the show. Gilmore Girls was about Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham’s relationship to each other, but it was also about the relationships that people throughout the town where the show took place formed. The ensemble cast helped make the series what it was, and that was shown off on Saturday night when everyone was able to get together.

All of this comes as talk begins to heat up that there could be a Gilmore Girls movie in the works, thanks in large part to the success that the Veronica Mars movie had just a couple of years ago. Fans are wanting to see their long-gone favorite characters again just one more time. It stands to reason Alexis Bledel and the rest of the cast would have no problem making this happen.
