Hilary Duff (24) and her husband Mike Comrie (31) recently welcomed a blue-eyed baby boy into the world, Luca Cruz Comrie , and Duff finally publicized a picture of their beautiful newborn baby.
Luca Cruz Comrie is only 2 weeks old and already his mother Hilary Duff has managed to snap back into shape by hitting the gym. The young singer-actress tweeted:
“20 minutes on the elliptical seems like an eternity!!! What the hell.”
In regards to Duff’s post-pregnancy appearance, one fan congratulated the new mother. To which she Hilary replied:
“You should have seen what I looked like last week.eek surprised I still have a husband!It was time to throw them heels on;) guurl”
Luca Cruz Comrie weighed in at 7 pounds and 7 ounces upon birth.
After the birth of her son, Duff was quoted saying, “we are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world. He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well.” An odd tune coming from the same woman who described her pregnancy as:
“…kind of like a little alien has taken over your body. You just don’t quite feel normal.”
While Hilary focuses on attending to her newborn and strengthening her parenting skills, the young musician seems intent on returning to a life of music after a few months as she was quoted having said:
“I think that after I have the baby I’ll want to sit still for a few months and learn how to be a really good mom and then there’s no reason why I can’t put a record out on tour … It might take a little while but I’m really excited about it.”
