Kim Kardashian thanks Spanx, the shape-wear brand that helps her show off her famous curves during her weight fluctuations and now during pregnancy. She loves Spanx so much, in fact, that sometimes the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star even wears two pairs at a time, reported People.
“Sometimes I wear two pairs [of Spanx] under something or stockings — it holds you in,” explained Kim of her reasons for double-the-lingerie love.
But even Kardashian, known for baring her body and brain in naked photo shoots and in-depth interviews, can’t hide the problems that accompany pregnancy. And so Kim is putting it all out there, from those too-tight pants that she just wants to unbutton to the flats that she hates.
When it comes to how she really feels, Kardashian claims that she’s insecure just like other many other women, reported Elle.
“I was wearing these pregnancy Spanx and they were newer, so they weren’t really the color tone of what I used to wear, and so you totally saw through,” recalled Kim.
“And I was just like ‘F**k it, I’m more comfortable in that and it’s just going to be one of those days.'”
In addition, Kardashian shared her insecurity from her weight gain and loss roller coaster.
“I was definitely insecure,” said the reality TV star. “Sometimes I’ll wear something and I’ll get inside and be like ‘Oh my God, I want to take these shoes off,’ like ‘That was not normal, I can’t wear these, I need to just leave and take them off.’ So it might look good in the picture, but I get them and then like, I’ve got to be normal and like unbutton my pants when I get in the car.”
But for Kardashian, pregnancy Spanx is just part of her pregnancy problems, reported E! News.
Kim revealed that she’s been so sick with morning sickness that she couldn’t even enjoy National Doughnut Day.
“Today is National Doughnut Day! Thought I would enjoy it more but morning/all day sickness really ruins things! LOL Maybe its for the best!”
However, as the Inquisitr reported, despite her delight in doughnuts, Kardashian used a low-carb diet to take off the post-pregnancy pounds after North West was born.
Kim lost an estimated 70 pounds with the high-fat ketogenic Atkins weight loss plan, which involves healthy fats such as avocado and nuts, protein such as chicken and fish, and non-starchy vegetables. Doughnuts typically are not included in the daily meal plan.
And whatever her weight, Kardashian is currently profiting from a role that results from her Keeping Up with the Kardashians fame, reported Fashionista.
That’s in becoming the face of a brand, alternatively known as taking on the role of celebrity spokeswoman or, in the case of Hype Energy Drinks, global ambassador.
Kim recently spent two hours in Nashville to fulfill part of her obligations for Hype, with fans happily alternating between getting a stomach full of the energy drink and getting an eyeful of Kardashian.
