Kaia Gerber is channeling Miranda Kerr with help from supermodel mother Cindy Crawford, and the result is stunning. The 13-year-old looked like a combination of a mini-me Crawford and Kerr, reported E! News.
At 49, Cindy definitely isn’t past her prime, as she proved by sharing multiple photos of the mother and daughter duo. But she’s also devoted to showing off Kaia’s natural beauty by posting exquisite pictures with captions that offer insight into the inspiration.
“Straight from my #shelfie…Love this picture I snapped of @kaiagerber. Fun fact: @mirandakerr was our inspiration!” wrote Cindy below the photo of Kaia.
For Kaia, beauty involves simplicity, from those pearls to the stark black-and-white collared blouse. For a touch of color from nature, Cindy’s daughter posed with an enormous fuchsia flower.
And when Crawford’s and Gerber’s fans viewed the photo, they had a difficult time deciding whether the teenager resembled her mom or Miranda, pointed out People.
Hint: Kerr posted her own photos in Instagram that showed just how Cindy got inspired to showcase Kaia’s beauty in that way.
What’s the significance of that flower? Miranda is the new face of the floral fragrance from Escada called “Joyful,” according to People.
Add that honor to her Reebok, beauty products, and hair product campaigns, and Kerr is a very busy supermodel. Now she’s sharing her supermodel secrets.
“I like to spritz on the ends of my hair, and also on my clothing before I get dressed. Just a little spritz on my clothing. It’s a subtle way when you enter the room for people to feel your presence, but not be overwhelmed by it.”
Since Gerber is following in both Cindy’s and Miranda’s footsteps, what are her mother’s beauty secrets?
Crawford credits her diet and fitness plan for much of her beauty, reported In The Gloss.
Three days a week, Cindy works out and follows a classic exercise routine.
“Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are my usual workout days. I have a trainer come in and we do stairs and weights,” she revealed.
As for her diet, Crawford is all about a low-carb plan. Good-bye pasta, hello protein.
“For lunch I’ll have salad, sometimes with chicken, sometimes without. For dinner we’ll go for sushi, or if we eat at home I’ll try to make a meal like turkey meatballs with pasta, a salad, and a vegetable. I just don’t have the pasta, and the kids don’t have the vegetables or the salad.”
In addition, as the Inquisitr reported, Cindy believes in eating organic foods.
Cindy is even starting a new business with Urban Remedy founder Neka Pasquale called Cindy’s Essentials. The company provides options for clean-eating diets, but they emphasize that it isn’t a cleanse.
“If you’re eating a lot of processed foods, then I would call this clean eating,” said Neka. “For some people it’s giving their body a break from foods that cause inflammation in their body constantly.”
