‘Destiny’: Xur’s Exotic Goods For Weekend Of June 5 Had MIDA, Saint-14, And Chest Engram
Compared to The Dark Below, Destiny players are finding Xûr, Agent of the Nine, to be exceedingly stingy with Exotic gear from the House of Wolves expansion. The mysterious vendor made another visit to the Tower on Friday, but veteran PlayStation and Xbox players may find themselves testing their luck with an Exotic Engram for chest armor.
This weekend, Xûr can be found across from the Speaker in the Tower North. Simply head to the left when you first spawn in the Tower, and you’ll find him standing in front of a large, round door across from the speaker’s entrance. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map just to be sure though.
Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, June 7. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
Despite the Exotic armor on sale this week all being retreads, the selection is excellent for Titans and Warlocks with high value pieces at fantastic rolls. The former has the Helm of Saint-14 while the latter has the Obsidian Mind. Meanwhile, Hunters have Young Ahamkara’s Spine available and it has a great stat roll as well. The weapon available for purchase this week is the MIDA Multi-Tool.
Here is what is available for sale and upgrade from Xûr this weekend. Thanks again to DestinyDB for the Exotic information below.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The MIDA Mult-Tool is a great all-around Scout Rifle with some nice features and perks for Destiny players. Its Impact rating is not as high as some other Scout Rifles but has a strong rate of fire and the best reload speed possible while also holding a healthy number of rounds. The “Third Eye” perk will keep your radar active while aiming down the sights, and the “MIDA Multi-Tool” perk will boost your Guardian’s speed and jump height.
The Helm of Saint-14 is the go to helmet for Defender Titans in Destiny. Its main draw is the “Starless Night” perk that blinds enemies that walk into the Ward of Dawn, which makes them extremely vulnerable. The benefit is greater in PVE than PVP, but it’s still useful in both situations. It also comes with the “Inverse Shadow” to get more super energy from killing PVE enemies and “Rain Blows” to increase melee attack speed.
The 118 Intellect stat roll is 18 points off from the maximum, but still a solid roll for this helmet. If you don’t have one for your Titan yet, get one as soon as you can.
Young Ahamkara’s Spin is a cool looking set of Gauntlets for the Hunter Gunslingers, but their main benefit is toward grenades. A high Discipline rating will help your grenades spawn faster while the Ashes to Asset perk will replenish Super energy faster when getting a kill with a grenade. The main draw is the “Improved Tripmine Grenade” perk that will allow those grenades to hang around 30 seconds longer. That is very useful in PVP, but not so much in PVE.
The 114 Discipline stat roll is only six points away from the current maximum. So, this would be a good week to purchase these gauntlets if you were ever curious about trying them out.
The Obsidian Mind helmet is a must-have for Warlocks. The combination of the “Inverse Shadow” (more super energy from killing minions) and “Insatiable” (Nova Bomb kills reduce Nova Bomb killdown) perks will make your Warlock a Nova Bomb-chucking machine. Pair this helmet up with the Soul Rip class talent and the Bad Juju’s “String of Curses” perk for even more damage.
The 75 Intellect and 53 Strength split stat roll is excellent where it needs to be, on the Intellect side. That’s very close to the current maximum on split stat rolls for helmets, which makes this a must buy for Voidwaler Warlocks in Destiny.
