Sean Payton Joins Jimmy Buffett On Stage, Plays Bongos [Video]

With a one-year suspension from the New Orleans Saints looming, head coach Sean Payton is looking for a new gig. Apparently, playing bongos with Jimmy Buffett is at the top of his list.

Buffett, who was playing a free show in New Orleans as part of the city’s Final Four celebration, walked out on stage in a “Free Sean Payton” t-shirt.

The Shutdown Corner reports that Buffett grew up in the Gulf Area and has been attending Saints games since the 60s.

Payton, who is appealing his one-year suspension, joined Buffett on stage to play the bongos on the song “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes.”

Payton will be meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and other NFL officials on Tuesday to discuss his suspension.

It isn’t clear if he’ll use the “a parrot head would never hurt anyone” defense.

Here’s the video of Sean Payton playing the bongos with Jimmy Buffett.

What do you think? Does Payton have a future as a parrot head?
