Eight Things To Really Know About Caitlyn Jenner: What’s Going On Behind ‘I Am Cait’, Girls’ Nights, And Her Most Intimate Moments As A Woman

The whole world was shaken when Caitlyn Jenner—formerly known as Bruce Jenner—finally got out of her cocoon and revealed herself. But all the information bombarding the internet about Cait and her newfound happiness seems to have become too overwhelming — the real issues about Caitlyn Jenner became buried somewhere along the way. So the Inquisitr compiled a short list of eight special things about Caitlyn Jenner—her real feelings and her new struggles as Cait.

Caitlyn Jenner had a panic attack after the facial-feminization surgery.

On March 15, Jenner underwent a facial-feminization surgery to further embody her femininity, and she admits she felt extreme emotions after the surgery. What she thought would only last five hours lasted ten, and she broke down the day after the surgery. Jenner consulted a counselor from the Los Angeles Gender Center and she was reassured that it was only human to feel doubt and trepidation. Since then, Jenner said that she has not felt any second thoughts about her transformation.

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,’ and I don’t want that to happen.”

The new Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t mind you mixing up pronouns, but “she” is certainly preferable.

Since Cait Jenner’s transformation, she has been vocal about her preference to be called a “she.” However, while some people had already made mistakes and confused their pronouns when referring to Caitlyn, Jenner admits she really doesn’t mind since she, too, is still adjusting.

“A guy came in the other day and I was fully dressed—it’s just habit, I said, ‘Hi, Bruce here,’ and I went, Oh ****, it ain’t Bruce, I was screwing up doing it.”

Caitlyn has “girls’ nights” with her family.

Since it’s all new to everyone, even to Cait Jenner herself, she has started throwing parties on her Malibu home where only women are invited. Jenner says that this helps her feel natural about herself and being with the people around her, as she is able to dress and talk like how she wants to.

Cait has been receiving tons of fan mail ever since.

Earlier this year, Cait Jenner announced in an interview with Diane Sawyer that she identified as a woman. Ever since, she is glad that a lot of people turned to writing her supportive and encouraging letters regarding her transition.

“I get letters every day from all of these people from all over the world.”

But amidst the fan mail and the support, haters are still onto her — and Caitlyn says she is ready for them.

It is not new for people to hate on celebrities and Caitlyn Jenner, certainly, has not been spared from this. Especially after her upcoming show, I Am Cait, was announced, haters started saying that Jenner did the transformation as a publicity stunt and cash grab. But Caitlyn says she is prepared to take all of this and hopes that I Am Cait, instead, would inspire transgendered people and help lower suicide rates in the community.

“I will never make an excuse for something like that. Yeah, this is a business. You don’t go out and change your gender for a television show. O.K., it ain’t happening. I don’t care who you are.”

Caitlyn Jenner reveals she was hurt when her children didn’t want to take part in her docu-series.

Burt, Cassandra, Brandon, and Brody have announced that they refuse to take part in the upcoming I Am Cait show starring Caitlyn Jenner, and it has deeply hurt the actress. However, Jenner’s four older children explained to her that they did not want to come off as making money off her transition story — that’s why they opted out. Cait seems to accept this explanation and rested her case.

Jenner thinks that Caitlyn will be a better parent than Bruce.

The new Caitlyn Jenner has fondly characterized her old self, Bruce, as “an insensitive father who had been absent for years at a time.” After her transition, she admits that she has realized her mistakes and is making it up to her four older children. Jenner says that her relationship with all of her children has gotten really better, in part because, she says, she has nothing left to hide. Although it has been known that Burt, Cassandra, Brandon, and Brody all already knew about Jenner identifying as a woman years back.

Caitlyn Jenner will be a better person than Bruce.

Cait believes that her new self will be a much better improvement of her old self, since Bruce was always telling lies. She says that Caitlyn Jenner will certainly be a fresher, newer person, who doesn’t have anything else to keep secret and be ashamed about. Instead of shielding herself when she leaves a local Starbucks, Jenner is going all out.

“I have high hopes that Caitlyn is a better person than Bruce. I’m very much looking forward to that.”
