Lauri Waring Brought ‘Filthy’ Drama To ‘RHOC,’ Claims Vicki Gunvalson

Lauri Waring’s return to The Real Housewives of Orange County years ago did not come as good news to her former friend, Vicki Gunvalson. Although Lauri Waring was once close with her former co-star and even worked with her briefly, their civility came to an abrupt end during the Bravo reality show’s eighth season.

During the show, Lauri Waring, who had once been quite calm and reserved, entered the group of women with guns blazing, and quickly turned on Gunvalson, claiming she was a cheater who had engaged in a threesome.

After being reminded of Lauri Waring’s odd and unwarranted behavior on Twitter, Gunvalson, as reported by Wetpaint Entertainment on June 2, called Lauri Waring’s behavior “filthy.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lauri Waring claimed weeks prior to Gunvalson’s tweet that she and her former co-star were on good terms. During an interview with Real Mr. Housewife in early May, Lauri Waring recounted a recent run-in between her and Gunvalson.

“Vicki and I were both invited on a yacht full of women entrepreneurs. We are both starting up an eboutique MKCollab that was founded by my friend who is a clothing designer and who introduced me to George.”

According to Lauri Waring, her conversation with Gunvalson was not only civil, it was actually prompted by her former co-star.

“On the yacht Vicki saw me before I saw her. She actually approached me and gave me a hug and said she had been watching my social media and she was glad that I was so happy and that our family was well. We spoke briefly about our grandchildren and the death of her mother. We proceeded to take many photos for people. In a nutshell, that was it. This was our first ‘run in’ since the reunion. I was pleased that Vicki handled herself so well and that she was able to be socially polite.”

After the accusations Lauri Waring made against her co-star, both on the show and in the press, it was pretty surprising to hear she was so kind to her former friend. After all, her words were quite damaging to Gunvalson’s reputation.

In the years since Lauri Waring’s guest appearance on the Real Housewives of Orange County, she hasn’t been seen again, but with a new season ready to premiere, it’s always possible fans will once again be reunited with Lauri Waring so stay tuned to the series.
