Guy With Ear Pain Uses Cell Phone To Find Out What’s Inside, See What Crawls Out [Video]

Bruce Branit went for a seemingly peaceful swim at Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri. Although he reportedly had a relaxing day, things took a turn for the worse when he began having ear pain. According to the Daily Mail, the excruciating pain was accompanied by a blockage so alarming that Bruce decided to take a look. However, it’s probably safe to say he was even more alarmed by what he found.

He reportedly took his cell phone and began filming to see if he could capture what was causing the odd pain. Sure enough, he was able to see what caused the problem. Apparently, a large live spider had crawled into his ear at some point during his swim. Bruce filmed a short clip of the crawling creature and shared the shocking footage via YouTube.

On Friday, May 29, he uploaded the video with a short description detailing his ordeal.

“Swan at Lake of the Ozarks last weekend and got a super painful ear infection, tried to use my phone camera to see if I could see anything… Found this!”

The 14-second clip begins with Bruce positioning the phone near his ear to look inside. It doesn’t take long for the creepy spider to crawl out, but, unfortunately, that doesn’t help much because it crawled right back into his ear canal.

Needless to say, many viewers have found the cringe-worthy footage quite gross! The shocking footage has caught the attention of nearly 100,000 viewers via Facebook and YouTube. Of course, many viewers aren’t too happy they watched the revolting video. Surprisingly, others have questioned whether or not the video is real. However, one viewer recounted a similar situation and argued such occurrences can happen and definitely aren’t laughing matters.

Here are some of the reactions to the shocking video.

“Well that’s something I’m going to find hard to erase from memory! In my case had I found a spider in my ear I would probably try to remove my head!”

“It happened to me years ago and I was going insane thinking I had a fly in my ear, the pain was just horrid as I kept trying to flush it out with water it kept biting me! Thankfully the doctors surgery let me go straight down and were horrified when they started removing legs from my ear, an amazing GP and a few onlookers watched in horror as this huge fat spider was eventually removed from my ear. A week of antibiotics and it pain was gone but the memory remained, never will I sit under spidery trellising again!”

“I’ll look forward to my nightmare about this story tonight..”
