Jessica Simpson Shares Mini-Me Maxwell Pics As 3-Year-Old Strikes Pose: Jessica’s Diet And Fashion [Photos]

Jessica Simpson has a mini-me, and it makes the mom of two very happy. Who’s her little aspiring star? That’s Maxwell Drew, who just celebrated her third birthday, reported USA Today.

Just like many families across the nation, Simpson and her children celebrated Memorial Day by wearing swimsuits. And for little Maxwell, it provided the perfect opportunity to pose like mommy Jessica by flaunting her model style. Jessica couldn’t resist sharing the cuteness on Instagram.

In addition to posting Maxwell’s swimsuit supermodel imitation, Simpson shared her daughter’s puckering up for a kiss.

“Kiss #maxidrew,” she wrote for the caption.

For Jessica, combining her fashion designer career with life as wife to Eric Johnson and mother to Maxwell and son Ace Knute, who will be 2-years-old next month, has brought many blessings, reported Us Weekly.

Simpson is excited about her spring-summer swim collection at Nordstrum and recently unveiled her 2015 campaign. She said that she took her inspiration from the sultry desert.

And in addition to her fashion line, Jessica takes pride in her weight loss after struggling twice to shed her post-baby pounds.

And with her slim-down comes a renewed positive body image, said Simpson. But she adds that her husband loves her regardless of her weight.

“Today, I feel truly comfortable in my own skin. Better exercise habits, food choices, and lifestyle changes have contributed to this, but ultimately, my confidence comes from my state of mind… Eric has seen me at every size, and he loves me no matter what.”

So, exactly how did Jessica succeed in achieving her weight loss goals? As the Inquisitr reported, Simpson used a combination of diet and exercise.

Celebrity fitness trainer Harley Pasternak provided Jessica with a fitness regime that ranged from walking to strength-training.

Harley advises walking 12,000 steps daily, plus five minutes of high-intensity exercise such as jumping rope. Add in upper-body exercises three times each week for bodacious biceps. For the core, Harley suggests planks and the “superman” pose.

As for diet, Jessica is a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers, which helped her lose more than 60 pounds. The fashion designer/singer/proud mom chose the weight loss program’s jump-start plan. It’s a low-carb diet.

That means that Jessica chooses from a variety of lean protein as well as non-starchy vegetables. She can satisfy her sweet tooth occasionally, such as for little Ace’s upcoming birthday party, but relies on sugar-free desserts.
