Soleil Moon Frye adores flaunting her newly slim body in a bathing suit. So when it was time to show off her 40-pound weight loss accomplished just in time for revealing summer attire, Soleil took it (almost) all off in her choice of swimsuit, reported Us Weekly.
Trying to lose weight after having her third baby, the 38-year-old actress debated diets. But she finally settled on Nutrisystem soon after her little boy Lyric Sonny Roads Goldberg was born in February 2014.
As for how Soleil feels now?
“I feel amazing,” flaunted Frye.
And whereas shopping for a bathing suit used to make her scared, now she’s ecstatic at the possibilities.
“The idea of getting into a bathing suit used to be terrifying. Now, I’m a little nervous but excited! There are so many fun suits to choose from this summer.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Melissa Joan Hart inspired Soleil to win her weight loss wars with the program.
When people would ask her about the due date of her baby a full three months after she had her third child, Soleil recalls that she reached her turning point.
“People would ask me, ‘Oh, when is the baby due?’ I could tell they were horrified when I said I already had it,” the actress said.
So when she asked Sabrina the Teenage Witch co-star Melissa for help, Soleil knew that it was time to try something different.
“She had done Nutrisystem and I was like, ‘Okay, I need to do this now!'” said Soleil.
Melissa Joan Hart and Soleil Moon Frye aren’t the only Nutrisystem celebrity graduates flaunting their figures.
General Hospital star Genie Francis also used the weight loss program to lose 30 pounds, reported People.
And Francis revealed that she has been dieting since age 14.
“I started working when I was 14 years old,” said Genie.
Given the iconic role of Laura Spencer in General Hospital, Francis was told that she needed to lose weight as a teenager.
“The first thing they did after I had been there for three or four months is put Laura on a diet. I totally freaked and it was very hard on me.”
Genie then devoted three decades to crash-dieting until she finally decided to give Nutrisystem a try. She lost 30 pounds in seven months.
“I wanted something different this time,” said the 52-year-old actress of her choice. “A lot of the diets I’ve been on have been extreme and taught me how to starve myself. But this has taught me how to feed myself.”
