‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ Multiplayer Weekend Event Pushes Players To Work Together In A Team Building Mission

BioWare, the developer of Dragon Age: Inquisition, keeps hosting weekend events for players participating in the game’s multiplayer. Last week, players were asked to slay high dragons and this week they have been tasked with a team building exercise. Completing the specific objectives each weekend rewards players with free chests that can contain new weapons, armor, classes, potions, and more.

The developer announced this weekend’s mission via the Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s official Facebook account. Although the multiplayer is purely co-operative, sometimes the characters need a little time together to work better as a team. Commander Cullen is asking that specific agents of the Inquisition team up and bring down foes in an effort to build a better Inquisition.

To earn a chest for the mission, “Team Building,” each player will need to complete 10 matches as one of the following classes; Legionnaire, Templar, Keeper, Virtuoso, Alchemist, or Hunter. In doing so, they will be rewarded with a Commendation Chest. The community goal, which is separated by platform, will reward anyone with access to Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s multiplayer with a Victory Chest. Both chests’ contents are random but earning them during an event means players save a bit of gold.

On Playstation 4, players will need to eliminate 2.75 million enemies as one of the previously listed classes. For those on Xbox One and PC, agents will need to kill 1.5 million foes combined while players on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 must murder 600,000 adversaries to meet their collective goal.

Remember, to contribute toward the goal players must be using the Legionnaire, the Templar, the Keeper, the Virtuoso, the Alchemist, or the Hunter to defeat enemies in order to aid the Inquisition in the mission. Players have until Monday morning to complete their goals. Commendation Chests, the personally earned chest, will be distributed at the time of completion. The Victory Chest will be awarded after the event has ended if the community goal is accomplished. Players can check on their progress as the weekend moves forward in the Challenges tab of the multiplayer menu.

BioWare is also celebrating 20 years of being an RPG-creating studio. Dragon Age: Inquisition may be the developer’s most recent title, but with two decades in the industry, BioWare has released some truly memorable titles. As the Inquisitr reported, BioWare is known for more than just Dragon Age: Inquisition and Mass Effect. Baldur’s Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Neverwinter Nights are all BioWare originals with plenty of impactful influences on the RPG genre as a whole.
