11-Year-Old College Graduate: Tanishq Abraham Earns Three Whopping Degrees With An Impressive 4.0 [Video]

It’s almost impossible to imagine an 11-year-old college graduate, let alone a graduate who can earn three degrees with a 4.0 within one year.

Tanishq Abraham graduated from American River College in Sacramento, California, on Wednesday, KCRA Sacramento reports. What’s more, this young genius doesn’t see what the big deal is in accomplishing something most adults don’t in a lifetime.

“This isn’t much of a big deal to me,” says Abraham.

The 11-year-old college graduate completed California’s early-exit high school exam with flying colors last year. He’s now in possession of three Associate’s Degrees. Abraham admits that some of his fellow graduates were “intimidated” by him, but that “a lot were really happy that there was a kid in their class.”

Abraham received a congratulatory message from President Barack Obama and several California officials.

The boy’s mother, Taji Abraham, said even in Kindergarten her son was always ahead in his class.

ARC college officials aren’t certain that Abraham is the school’s youngest graduate, but “he was definitely the youngest this year,” college spokesman, Scott Crow, told NBC Bay Area.

This young man has some lofty ambitions that are definitely within his grasp at the rate he’s going in life.

“I want to become a doctor, but I also want to become a medical researcher, and also the president of the United States,” Abraham said.

The new graduate posted a message on Twitter Thursday reaffirming wanting to reach these monumental milestones.

“3 Associate college degrees -Awesome feeling- completed my first few baby steps to my BIG goal- @NobelPrize med doctor/researcher & @POTUS”

In Today’s report from last year, Tanishq Abraham’s parents said they wanted him to enjoy his youth in spite of his receiving so much attention after successfully passing the early-exit exam out of high school.

“He doesn’t get fazed by all this (attention),” Taji said at the time. “He is just a happy-go-lucky kid. As parents, we try to keep both kids grounded and give them a childhood. We try to balance everything out.”

Also revealed in the report was that the 11-year-old college graduate had been taking classes at ARC the past seven years. His goal is to graduate from a four-year university by the time he’s 12 or 13. It wouldn’t be too surprising if he gets that accomplished by next year!

Brains tend to be in the Abraham family’s DNA. Today added in its report that Tanishq’s younger sister is also taking college classes at ARC and she’s only 7-years-old.
