‘Pretty Little Liars’ Secrets Reveal New Loves In Season Six

Warning: This article contains spoilers for season six of Pretty Little Liars.

There’s no doubt that Pretty Little Liars spoilers have been keeping PLL fans on their toes throughout the hiatus with hints at what Big A might be bringing and then there’s the new Pretty Little Liars villain: Uber A. There’s so much more to Pretty Little Liars than just uncovering secret identities though, and another facet that keeps PLL fans coming back is the love affairs.

Pretty Little Liars‘ executive producer Oliver Goldstick was only too happy to give PLL fans a glimpse at what’s in store for each of those liars when the sixth season kicks off. According to Mr. Goldstick, there will definitely be some changes on Pretty Little Liars this season.

Aria (Lucy Hale) seems to be the first to come to mind whenever PLL fans think about changing relationships. Although Ezra (Ian Harding) has been something of a constant for Aria, they have had their ups and downs with other love interests interrupting their chemistry from time to time. The last season of Pretty Little Liars seemed to see the end of that long-running relationship, but Goldstick says not to count Ezra out just yet.

“I think the universe is sending her some real mixed messages,” the Pretty Little Liars exec said. “Part of her knows that she and Ezra need to go their separate ways, but something happens in the beginning of [season] six A that brings them very close together again.”

As much as Aria represents change, Hannah (Ashley Benson) seems to exemplify devotion, particularly where Caleb is concerned. After all, this PLL boyfriend seems too good to be true at times. As rock solid as their relationship seems, the new season of Pretty Little Liars may bring some challenges that will test the limits of this relationship.

“Because of her trauma, she might not be able to appreciate how great Caleb is right away in [season] six.”

Mr. Goldstick is leaving some mystery intact where Emily (Shay Mitchell) is concerned.

“She might just realize that she’s now got a soul mate closer to her than she ever thought. And the dollhouse will have been a big factor in a shift of what Emily wants in a partner. Who and what she wants.”

Any guesses, PLL fans? Will the new season of Pretty Little Liars bring Paily back into the mix? Does someone new have Emily’s heart?

Toby (Keegan Allen) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) have really gone through the wringer in the last season of Pretty Little Liars, and Toby’s interest in becoming a police officer did little to help the situation. It seems Spencer’s constant digging into secrets may actually help her stay close to Toby, if the Pretty Little Liars‘ EP can be trusted.

“Spencer will be challenged as well, but the great news is she’s got an inside track at the Rosewood PD. So Spencer — who has always led a lot of this mystery train — holds the key because she was obviously the first one to see [Charles’] movie,” Goldstick said. “I would just say that her romance may get a little addled by the mystery of it all, but that doesn’t mean her romance goes away completely.”

That’s it! Or is it? What about Alison? It seems the most mysterious pretty little liar will finally find time for more than just keeping one step ahead of A in season six.

“I think you’re going to be excited that there’s life after prison for Alison and that she doesn’t have to wear orange. Once she puts on a different color she may be attracted to somebody in Rosewood who you won’t expect — an unlikely person. And an unlikely person might find her very attractive.”

Any thoughts on that, PLL fans?

The sixth season of Pretty Little Liars will premiere on June 2 on ABC Family.
