Kaitlyn Bristowe Concerned About Britt After ‘Bachelorette’ Title Was Revealed

Kaitlyn Bristowe may have gotten her heart broken by Chris Soules during the Bachelor finale, but she is getting a second chance at love on this season of The Bachelorette. Clearly, Bristowe was a favorite to begin with, as she was more appealing that Britt Nilsson during the Bachelor season with Soules.

Many felt that Britt was lying to get her way through the show, while fans were shocked at Chris’ choice to send Kaitlyn Bristowe packing near the finale. However, Kaitlyn appears ready to take on the stardom of being on the show. In fact, Bristowe was thinking some deep thoughts during the premiere, especially when she was chosen as the one lady the men would need to fight over.

According to a new People report, Kaitlyn Bristowe is now revealing that she was shocked at being chosen, but concerned about Nilsson. Of course, the ladies were friends while filming The Bachelor, so it makes sense that Bristowe thought twice about her friend.

“When Chris Harrison told me the news, of course I was excited. But the first thing that came to mind was, ‘How is Britt?’ I wanted to run to her and give her a huge hug and make sure she was okay,” Kaitlyn explains about finding out about the Bachelorette role, adding, “Britt is a strong woman, so I knew she would handle it well, but that’s just not something anyone would want to go through. It was without a doubt the strangest mix of emotions all at once.”

Of course, Britt had hoped to be picked as the main lady and it must be heartbreaking to think that so many guys want to pick another lady over her. And Bristowe did feel guilty about it.

“I did feel guilty being excited because I knew someone’s feelings were hurt. But I was grateful, eager and relieved. As the excitement took over, I was sooo stoked I got to call my mom! I knew how happy she would be for me and that my whole family was probably anxious,” Kaitlyn Bristowe adds to the commentary.

With that said, this season sure looks interesting. Nick Viall, an ex-contestant for Andi Dorfman, has revealed that he majorly crushed on Kaitlyn Bristowe prior to her being chosen as The Bachelorette. In addition, according to the Inquisitr, Kaitlyn is rumored to sleep with some contestants throughout this season.
