David Foster Sticks By Yolanda As She Battles Lyme Disease

David Foster has stuck by wife Yolanda throughout her Lyme disease battle and on Tuesday night, May 19, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a photo, which put his love and support on display.

Along with her sweet message to David Foster, whom she married in 2011, Yolanda shared a photo of her husband kissing her on the forehead with his hand on the side of her face.

One year after their November 11, 2011 wedding, Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and in 2014, she suffered a devastating relapse, which left her unable to read, write, and even watch television. Luckily, throughout the ordeal, David Foster has been at her side, tending to her every need and ensuring she has access to the best treatments available.

Following her relapse, Yolanda accompanied David Foster to Asia where he was starring as a judge on Asia’s Got Talent. While in the country, David Foster set his wife up with treatments not yet approved for use in the United States. Yolanda also recently traveled to Germany, where she underwent a stem cell transplant.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Yolanda’s role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 is currently up in the air as she continues to search for a cure. However, if David Foster has it his way, his wife will walk away from her gig with Bravo. According to a Radar Online report, David Foster fears the stress of being on a reality show could put an even bigger strain on Yolanda’s Lyme disease struggles.

“David has told Yolanda there is just no way she can return to the show because her condition is just getting worse. The Lyme disease is just ravaging her, and traveling for the international medical treatments is taking a toll. Yolanda is extremely weak, and her memory is suffering. David is just being protective because he doesn’t want any of the ladies to use her illness against her, as he knows those women are vicious.”

As for Yolanda, she’s hoping she’ll be able to return, as she feels the show gives her a platform to spread awareness about her illness.

“It will break Yolanda’s heart if she can’t be on RHOBH because she wants to use the platform to raise awareness about the illness.”

David Foster has appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with wife on several occasions thus far.
