Heiress Paris Hilton sure knows how to travel in style and luxury. After attending the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, the 34-year-old flew to Monaco using Uber’s newest helicopter taxi service.
Wearing a sparkly, floor-length gown, Hilton posed beside the Uberchopper before taking off. She then shared this snap to her millions of Twitter and Instagram followers. The said photograph was captioned, “Love that Uber now has helicopters.”
Hilton also shared a selfie of herself which she took while riding inside the helicopter. In it, the heiress can be seen wearing an aviation headset with her sunglasses on. She glammed the whole aviation look up with a pair of dangling earrings.
Later, Hilton was spotted at the annual de Grisogono party which was held in Cap d’Antibenes near Cannes.

Uber changed the landscape of the taxi industry by initially introducing its mobile-based car service. They are now taking their business to the next level by offering helicopter rides. The Uberchopper service was made available throughout the Cannes Film Festival which will run until May 24. Their newest offering gives festival goers a traffic-free alternative.
On Monday, Hilton also made the news when she and actor Sun Zu Yang broke Cannes’ no selfie rule. Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux made it clear that selfies were banned from this year’s event. He described them as “ridiculous and grotesque.” Despite this announcement from the festival director, Hilton still posed for a selfie on the red carpet.

However, she wasn’t the only festival goer who broke the no selfie rule. There were many other rebellious stars who didn’t heed the festival director’s decree. Hollywood stars such as Eva Longoria, Woody Allen, Tom Hardy and Salma Hayek all took selfies while on Cannes’ red carpet. Among them, only Hayek apologized.
Likewise, on the same day, Hilton was lauded for her glamorous outfit which she wore on the premiere of Inside Out. Walking on the red carpet, she donned a sparkling, backless gown made of sheer fabric by Yousef Al-Jasmi.
Hilton arrived in Cannes over the weekend to promote her newest single “High Off My Love” at the VIP Room. She started out her promotional tour in the UK before heading to Cannes. She will heading to Cabo, Mexico next.
Earlier this month, Hilton released a new music video for “High Off My Love” in support of her latest track.
