Jade Roper And Carly Waddell React To Kaitlyn Bristowe’s ‘Bachelorette’ Win Over Britt Nilsson
Two people who are happy about Kaitlyn Bristowe being chosen by the majority of the men to be the sole woman for the rest of The Bachelorette season are Jade Roper and Carly Waddell. On Tuesday, both women reacted to the revelation that Kaitlyn had beat en out Britt Nilsson.
Both Jade and Carly competed with Kaitlyn for Chris Soules on The Bachelor. Both Jade and Carly became good friends with Kaitlyn during that process. Jade, who was one of Chris’ final four along with Kaitlyn, Becca Tilley, and Whitney Bischoff, immediately posted a congratulatory tweet to Kaitlyn.

Carly responded to the announcement by posting a photo of herself with Kaitlyn, the new Bachelorette.

Carly had also sent out a tweet proclaiming her love for Kaitlyn.

While Jade Roper kept her feelings more towards herself, Carly Waddell was very vocal about her dislike of Britt Nilsson during The Bachelor. It was Carly who, feeling as if Britt wasn’t genuine and wasn’t going after Chris Soules for the right reasons, told Chris that Britt had told others that she could never see herself living in Arlington, Iowa. Several times, Carly told the camera that she took joy in outing Britt and making her squirm. Carly was especially pleased when Chris sent Britt home, after Britt lost her cool during a group date with Carly and Kaitlyn over him giving the rose to Kaitlyn instead of her.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Carly later said that she regretted hurting Britt with her callous comments.
“I really did like [Britt] until I had a reason not to trust her. I really did… I do have to say that there’s a few moments where I said some things I do regret. I didn’t want to come off with the intention of sounding like that. Um, I was trying to be funny at some points and they did not come out funny and they hurt her feelings. And I am sorry for those specific instances. I’m just not sorry for telling him about what happened.”
Early on Tuesday night’s episode of The Bachelorette, host Chris Harrison broke the news that more of the 25 men voted for Kaitlyn Bristowe to be the Bachelorette over Britt Nilsson. Britt took the news gracefully. “I just really felt like I met a lot of really amazing people. Wow,” she said.
When told that the vote was very close, Britt admitted that she was surprised by the outcome.
“I don’t know if that makes it better or worse. I don’t know, it felt very right. I’m just very surprised. I still appreciate being allowed to be part of this.
