Kim Jong-Un Chews Out ‘Incompetent’ Turtle Farmers For ‘Outmoded Thinking’

Kim Jong-Un recently chastised the officials at a turtle farm, complaining that they did not do enough to heed his father’s leadership and they were not producing enough freshwater lobsters. An irate Kim is likely a frightening thing for North Koreans after a string of grisly executions.

Kim Jong-Un visited the Taedonggang Terrapin Farm just outside of Pyongyang — terrapin is a term used to describe several kinds of freshwater turtles. The dictator was highly disappointed.

According to state-run media outlet KCNA, he “strongly criticised the shortcoming of its officials as a manifestation of incompetence, outmoded way of thinking and irresponsible work style.”

AFP explained that Kim Jong-Un routinely engages in “field guidance” trips to various civilian and military operations throughout the country. Usually, Kim is inquisitive and jovial during the inspections while he gives highly-prized advice, but not this time.

CNN reported that the dictator blasted the workers for ignoring his father’s leadership.

“It is hard to understand that the farm visited by Kim Jong Il did not arrange even the room for education in revolutionary history. The employees who failed to bear deep in their minds his leadership exploits could hardly perform their role as masters in production.”

Kim Jong-Il personally set up the turtle farm to “provide the people with tasty and nutritious terrapin widely known as a precious tonic from olden times.”

The young dictator said if all the nation’s officials worked like those at the turtle farm, the country would never achieve the vision of his father.

Another item on Kim Jong-Un’s list of complaints was the lack of freshwater lobster.

That might spell trouble for the leader’s celebration for the 70th anniversary of the Korean Workers’ Party (WPK). The event will no doubt be extravagant, but luxury items are becoming harder to come by since foreign countries are tightening their sanctions. That means the lobster will have to be domestic, and if the officials fail to produce, they could face some harsh punishments.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kim’s rage extends beyond turtle farms into his inner circle and even into his family. The report claims the dictator recently executed his defense minister Hyon Yong-Chol, one of his close advisors, for treason after he reportedly fell asleep at a rally organized by the leader himself. The minister was reportedly shot with anti-aircraft guns. However, South Korean intelligence has recently revised their statement regarding the North Korean defense minister’s death, saying that they were not able to verify the claims.

Likewise, Kim Jong-Un allegedly poisoned his aunt for complaining about the execution of her husband.

From high-ranking officials to turtle farmers, it’s not easy to live in Kim Jong-Un’s North Korea.
