Vin Diesel Breakdancing Throwback Video Goes Viral On Reddit [Video]

Yes, Vin Diesel break dances. Vin Diesel’s breakdancing throwback video has gone viral on Reddit, and it is easy to see why.

Apparently, before Diesel became a big-shot actor, he was an awkward teen that performed breakdance routines on the streets of New York City.

“Holy crap,” Reddit user agnosgnosia wrote in the post that included the must-see video. “This is actually Vin Diesel breakdancing in the 80s.”

The video shows the Furious 7 actor with a full head of hair (yes, at one point Vin Diesel had hair) performing with his buddy to the song “Return of the B-Boy” by The Pharcyde. Both are wearing matching headbands, track suits, and shoes.

“It’s that moment when you remember that all the ‘cool’ celebrities are really just the drama and music class dorks grown up,” Reddit user Icaria wrote. “Yep. Even the ones that play the hardest gangsters on screen. Not everyone can have Danny Trejo’s career path,” another user added.

The video has been uploaded on YouTube since 2006 and has over one million views.

“That was the real thing,” the actor joked with Kelly Rippa and Michael Strahan during an episode of Live! With Kelly and Michael, according to Us Weekly. “And this was back in the ’80s. Yeah, I used to breakdance in Columbus Circle. I used to breakdance at Washington Square Park. That was my first gig.”
