Kenya Moore Denies Stiffing ‘Life Twirls On’ Actress As Janet Hubert Files Criminal Charges Against The ‘RHOA’ Star

Kenya Moore is going on the defense against Janet Hubert’s claims of not being paid for her part in the former beauty queen’s new project Life Twirls On. According to Hubert, she has filed criminal fraud charges against the RHOA star.

Kenya took to Instagram on Thursday to defend against the claims by Janet Hubert (who played Aunt Viv on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) that Moore has not paid her for the work she performed on the Life Twirls On pilot.

Her defense to the allegations comes a week after Hubert posted on her Facebook page that she had filed criminal charges against the RHOA star.

In her latest post about the topic on her Facebook page, written after the RHOA star posted her defense on Instagram, Janet says Kenya Moore is nothing more than a thief and a liar and accuses the Life Twirls On producer of falsifying timesheets and sending checks in the wrong amount. She also reiterates that she has filed police reports against Moore.

According to Uptown Magazine, the feud between Hubert and Moore over the nonpayment issue began two months ago when Janet Hubert used YouTube to call out Kenya for not paying her for her work on the Life Twirls On pilot. She also accused Moore of trying to trick the former Fresh Prince star into appearing on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, a show Hubert says she wants no part of. The Screen Actors Guild is involved in the war between Janet and Kenya, but both actresses say the union is on their side.

A war with Janet Hubert isn’t the only snag with the Life Twirls On project that Moore is running into. Although the reality star said recently during the RHOA reunion that there is always a network willing to pick up any successfully produced pilot, Kenya recently revealed on her Bravo blog and Twitter that Life Twirls On will actually premiere Friday, May 8 on her Facebook page.

“Life Twirls On premiering in May go to facebook.com/thekenyamoore and like me to get access to a special preview! Please like me on Facebook to see the world premiere of #LifeTwirlsOn before network broadcast.”

Kenya Moore has yet to announce which network, if any, has agreed to pick up her project.
