Tyler Baltierra Has A Message For Maci Bookout’s Boyfriend Taylor: Don’t ‘Rush’ Into Marriage

Tyler Baltierra doesn’t want his Teen Mom OG co-star, Taylor McKinney, to rush into a marriage with Maci Bookout. Although McKinney and Bookout are currently expecting their first child together, and have been dating for over two years, Tyler Baltierra feels it may be best for them to wait on a wedding.

Earlier this week, according to a May 7 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, Tyler Baltierra sent a message to McKinney on Twitter.

“I’m just now marrying Cate & it’s been almost a decade. No rush dude, just do when you BOTH are ready. I held that torch 4 too long.”

During Monday night’s Teen Mom OG, which aired prior to Tyler Baltierra’s tweet, Bookout was seen discussing a potential engagement, claiming she didn’t want to wait until after her daughter was born to begin planning her and McKinney’s wedding.

“I would prefer to be planning a wedding right now so that six months after the baby’s born we could get married.”

That same night, fans watched as McKinney admitted he was “actually thinking a lot about proposing to her because I know she really wants it.”

However, online, McKinney appeared to be getting frustrated with the pressures of marriage, explaining to Tyler Baltierra that people were “drivin me insane with that crap.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Tyler Baltierra has been open with his love for Lowell, and often gushes about his soon-to-be wife online. Most recently, Tyler Baltierra shared the following message with fans on Instagram:

“I cant wait to make this beautiful womam my bride in 6 months. I’m the luckiest man in the world to have such an incredible god sent angel by my side. @catelynnmtv you will never know what a blessing you have been to my life, so it looks like I will be spending the rest of my days proving it to you as your husband #MyBaby #SrongestWomanIKnow #PureAngel #BrideToBe.”

Tyler Baltierra and Lowell have been featured on MTV for years. In 2009, as they welcomed their since-adopted daughter, Carly, Tyler Baltierra and Lowell starred in 16 & Pregnant. From there, the couple went on to appear in Teen Mom, which also featured Bookout, Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham.

Then, during Teen Mom OG, Tyler Baltierra and Lowell were seen preparing for the birth of their second child, Novalee Reign Baltierra, who was born on January 1 of this year.

Tyler Baltierra will wed Lowell in August.
