Yolanda Foster continues to fight Lyme Disease, and on Wednesday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had what she referred to as an “ugly” day while in Germany for treatment.
On May 6, Yolanda Foster took to Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself lying on her back in the grass, surrounded by flowers.
“It’s up to You to find Beauty in the ugliest days…… #NoteToSelf #SpringTimeIsHere #Earthing #MyHealthJourney #DeterminedToFindACure.”
Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, shortly after signing on to appear on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Then, in December of last year, the reality star and longtime model revealed she had suffered a relapse, which left her unable to read and write.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Yolanda Foster opened up about her Lyme disease struggles in her final blog for Bravo. On April 1, Yolanda Foster told fans she wasn’t doing well, but insisted she was a “determined warrior,” ready to go to war for her life.
“My world has become very small. I have moved into an apartment with my husband and son in order to have a more manageable scope of responsibilities while I recover slowly and learn to take life one day at a time. Getting well is my full-time job these days.”
“I am a determined warrior, and even though this has brought me to my knees, I know God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling.”
While Yolanda Foster participated in the majority of filming on the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was unable to tape the entire reunion, which was shot a couple of months ago.
As Yolanda Foster continues to battle Lyme disease, fans of the Bravo show have been left wondering if she’ll be able to return for the show’s upcoming sixth season. If Foster was unable to participate in the reunion, which involved nothing more than a seated discussion, it’s hard to think she’ll be able to return for the new season — especially as a full-time housewife.
In addition to Yolanda Foster’s role being up in the air, so are the roles of Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville. Because of Richards’ recent relapse and arrest, many believe she should end her reality television career. As for Glanville, Bravo execs have allegedly had enough of her trouble-starting behavior and don’t want her back.
