‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Maci Bookout Discusses Farrah Abraham’s ‘Very Shady’ Return

Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout was upset after learning her former co-star, Farrah Abraham, would be returning to the series after initially claiming she would not. During the latest episode of the series’ After Show, the Teen Mom OG star spoke out, explaining why the news of Abraham’s return came as a complete shock.

“When this news was brought to me, it was done in a very shady, very behind my back, ‘We’re gonna tell you this on camera’ way,” Bookout explained, according to an April 29 report by Wetpaint Entertainment.

Morgan Freeman, creator of Teen Mom OG and the bearer of bad news, had to have known the Teen Mom OG star would be upset, but at the same time, he didn’t think her reaction to the news would be so intense.

“I understand that they share the same hour, but I also feel like the fact that they’re just intertwined mitigates anyone judging Maci or judging Bentley for sharing the hour with Farrah.”

On the show, the Teen Mom OG star, as well as her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, were confronted with the idea by Freeman just a couple of episodes into the show. Right away, Bookout was upset about how Abraham’s participation on the show could affect her 6-year-old son.

As was revealed during the series, Abraham left the show after Season 4, and went on to star in an adult film. She also released a line of adult toys, molded out of her own anatomy, and published a series of erotic novels.

Eventually, the Teen Mom OG star settled her differences with Freeman, and the two continued on with their years-long friends.

“I met my wife at the birth of Bentley. Maci was at my wedding, so there’s a relationship there. I did not want to risk that either. It was a situation I had to sort of rely on a lot of faith and at the end of the day realize that it is a TV show, and that Maci will ultimately see it as a TV show.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Teen Mom OG star explained why she nearly quit the show during an MTV special. On the show, via MTV News, Bookout said she joined the series based on the idea Abraham would not be participating. So, when they brought her back, she felt a sense of betrayal.
