Penis Pothole Painter Forces Council To Fix Roads With Crude Drawings, Has Pun-Tastic Pseudonym
A mysterious street-artist has been using his powers of painting for good as he has been drawing penises around potholes, which has then forced his local council to fill them up.
What’s even better is that he has created arguably the greatest pseudonym of all time to hide his true identity. The phallic spray painter is known as Wanksy, which is a play of the renowned English graffiti artist, Banksy, and the derogatory term from the same country, “W****r.”
Wanksy has been spraying the streets of Greater Manchester, England, to get the potholes filled. You can check out some of Wanksy’s best pieces below. Warning: the easily offended might take umbrage with his work, so should proceed with caution.

The anonymous individual, who started his unique protest because his cyclist friends were being hospitalized thanks to the potholes, has been talking to the Manchester Evening News about why he has resorted to drawing penises on the road in the area.
“I wanted to attract attention to the pothole and make it memorable. Nothing seemed to do this better than a giant comedy phallus. It’s also speedy, I don’t want to be in the road for a long time. It seems to have become my signature. I just want to make people smile and draw attention to the problem.”
Because of the constantly popping up penises most of the potholes that are spray-painted are fixed in a timely manner, while one was believed to have been in less than 48 hours.
However, despite Wanksy’s best efforts to try and improve the roads for locals, the council has responded negatively to his actions, with a Bury council spokesman explaining that the artist’s actions “are not only stupid but incredibly insulting to local residents.” They added, “Every penny that we have to spend cleaning off this graffiti is a penny less that we have to spend on actually repairing the potholes.”
