RHOBH sisters Kim and Kyle Richards have been at odds for months, so what did Kyle have to say when confronted with news of Kim’s recent incarceration?
On April 22, X17 Online caught up with Kyle on the streets of Los Angeles, where they asked her about Kim’s recent arrest and relapse. Unfortunately, they didn’t get much information from the reality star and Beverly Hills boutique owner.
“You guys I’m really not going to be talking about this, so you’re just wasting your time.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the RHOBH sisters were said to be estranged from one another in the weeks after the reunion taping. After Kim’s arrest, Kyle was accused of refusing to speak with her sister.
According to a Radar Online report, the entire Richards family was in “crisis mode” after Kim’s less-than-shocking arrest, with Kyle especially frustrated with the situation.
“Kyle has been saying that Kim needs help for months and she wasn’t shocked when she learned she got arrested. She wants their sister Kathy [Hilton] to help convince Kim to get treatment and to face her issues.”
Following Kim’s arrest, she and Kathy Hilton were seen at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where Kim spoke to Dr. Phil in a taped interview, which will air on April 28. While the reality star reportedly came clean about her drunken incident, she and her sister were later seen outside of the hotel after Kim allegedly turned down treatment.
As for their on-screen drama, the RHOBH sisters dealt with plenty of it during Season 5. In addition to a tense moment at Eileen Davidson’s poker party, during which Richards was under the influence of one of her ex-husband’s prescribed pain killers, the RHOBH sisters also butted heads at Kyle’s gay mixer, which Kim brought Kyle’s on-screen nemesis, Brandi Glanville, to.
The RHOBH sisters feuded at the reunion, as well, over topics including Kim’s dog’s attack on Kyle’s daughter and their late mother’s former Palm Springs home.
During an interview with Us Weekly just one day before her sister’s arrest, Kyle spoke out about the RHOBH sisters’ strained relationship.
“I hope that with time Kim and I will be able to resolve things. Regardless of what we have gone through, I love my sister and her children. They are incredibly important to me.”
The RHOBH sisters have been included on the Bravo reality show since Season 1. Their part on Season 6, however, has yet to be confirmed.
