Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris Constantly Text, FaceTime, And Connect On Social Media

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are taking advantage of technology in order to stay in touch. It’s been revealed that the DJ and producer has started following the “Blank Space” singer on Instagram, according to a Us Weekly report.

Harris reportedly only follows 123 people on the photo sharing app. He finally showed some affection for Swift on Instagram by liking one of her posts. Harris liked a video of her cat Olivia Benson acting like a meerkat, according to the news source. This comes after the news that the “Summer” DJ is reportedly allergic to Swift’s cats.

Taylor and Calvin aren’t just following each other on Instagram. They’re also constantly texting and having FaceTime sessions. An alleged source told Hollywood Life that Taylor and Calvin are trying to make their long distance relationship work before she leaves for her world tour on May 5. It seems like they’re enjoying the technology they’ve been using to keep in touch.

“Calvin and Taylor tested how it will be like when they aren’t with each other by texting like crazy and sending video messages to each other. And it seems to be working!”

The source also revealed that Swift and Harris make their texts open-ended, so they can respond back to each other. Not only that, but they also make sure that they end their messages on a good note.

“They make sure to make their messages open-ended so the other person has to respond. And they make sure to say, ‘See you later,’ rather than ‘Goodbye.’ They are still going strong and are happy with each other.”

Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that the girl group, Haim, may have been responsible for setting Taylor and Calvin up! During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday morning, the trio said that they’re big fans of the DJ – including Este Haim.

“We’ve known Calvin for a while. He put out a record in like 2008 or 2009 like back in the day, and I used to go to all of his shows and I was a big fan. We just kind of linked up. I think he knows how much of a fan I am.”

Este Haim was also asked if they were the ones who introduced Taylor to Calvin.

“I don’t even know, but I do know I love them both.”

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were spotted together at a Haim concert in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. The couple looked quite comfortable with each other as they danced and held hands. Taylor and Calvin were also spotted at a Kenny Chesney concert, when dating rumors first started flying. Calvin must love the singer a lot if he attended to a country music concert with her. An alleged source said he’s working very hard to make Taylor happy.

“Calvin is bending over backwards for her. He’s fitting himself into her life completely and he’s even promised to visit her as much as he can when she goes on the tour, they’re making jokes about how he’s going to be her tour groupie. But they will still have a lot of long distance to deal with and that part sucks, she knows that won’t be easy, that’s the only drama she’s got with Calvin though otherwise it’s pretty much perfect.”
