‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Wants Charges Against Nathan Griffith Dropped? He Hopes So!

Does Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans want the domestic abuse charges against her ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith, dropped? According to him, she doesn’t want him to have anything new on his record.

During an interview with Radar Online on April 22, prior to his appearance in court, Griffith claimed the Teen Mom could drop the charges currently pending against him, in regard to their March 4 fight in South Carolina.

“She doesn’t want me to have charges and I hope she will ask to dismiss the charges.”

Although it will be up to the State to officially dismiss the charges of domestic assault, Griffith, who stars on Teen Mom 2 alongside Evans, doesn’t expect to do any time.

“I don’t think I’ll go to jail, it’s only a misdemeanor.”

Evans and Griffith began dating in June of 2013 and welcomed their first child together one year later. During their courtship, Evans and Griffith’s relationship was on-and off, but in January of this year, they became engaged during a made-for-TV proposal in St. Thomas, which will be seen during the upcoming sixth season of Teen Mom 2.

Two months after their engagement, Evans and Griffith’s relationship took a turn for the worse when the two engaged in an alleged domestic assault during which Griffith reportedly ripped of Evans’ engagement ring, leaving her with a small cut on her finger.

In regard to his relationship with the Teen Mom, Griffith claimed that despite a judge ordering them from contacting one another, they are doing a good job co-parenting their young son, Kaiser.

“Jenelle and I are on good terms, [and] do a great job co-parenting.”

“Of course I love her, she’s the mother of my child.”

However, despite an Inquisitr report claiming they may be back on, Evans said otherwise online in regard to a new woman in Griffith’s life.

On Twitter, the Teen Mom told a fan, “He def downgraded.”

However, many Teen Mom fans didn’t agree and began sending her photos, many of which compared Evans to Evans’ alleged other woman, Michele McMillan.

After the photo above, of the woman tagged in the Teen Mom‘s “downgraded” comment, was shared, Evans then denied she was who she was referring to, explaining, “That’s not her but he talks to her too he’s playing all of us lmao.”

Teen Mom 2 Season 6 premieres on July 9 at 10 p.m. on MTV. Evans and Griffith will both be seen on the upcoming installment.
