Rihanna Goes Blonde & Topless, Doesn’t Care About Privacy Anymore

Rihanna stripped down for a revealing photo shoot with V magazine. The pop singer also reveals the details about her upcoming R8 album and how she wants to live her life on social media and in the spotlight.

RiRi stripped down to nothing but a pair of baby blue panties for the magazine’s cover. The bathing suit bottoms barely covered her curves. The “FourFiveSeconds” singer posed topless, with her back to the camera. The headline screams, “RihannaRama! The Rapturous Return of Pop’s Ultimate Bad Gal and All That’s Hot This Summer.”

The V magazine photo shoot has a slight 60s’ vibe to it. It shows Rihanna wearing a blonde bouffant wig as she poses in a variety of retro bathing suits. She also poses topless as she sips an ice cold drink. This photo shoot has more of a colorful and playful vibe rather than sexual and raunchy, as Entertainment Wise describes it. Rihanna’s V magazine photo shoot was shot by photographer Steven Klein and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, who also styled Selena Gomez’s infamous Lolita-esque V cover.

RiRi squashed the rumors that she’s been taking a break since the 2012 release of her last album, Unapologetic. Fans and the media thought she wanted to take a long break after dropping a new album each year. RiRi even revealed that she’s not been working on one, but two albums!

“I didn’t actually take time off. The past two years are the hardest I’ve ever worked. I’ve been working on two albums, an animated film, shooting for multiple magazines, designing for Puma and Stance [socks], a new line of fragrances, a summer tour, I launched my first annual Diamond Ball at the end of last year, and I’ve also been developing several projects to be revealed in the near future.”

Rihanna also revealed the details about her highly-anticipated R8 album.

“Dude, I’m in love with my interludes. This one called ‘James,’ joint is on constant repeat. [The album is] soulful and aggressive, whether it’s lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice.”

It’s no secret that the singer has been laying low on social media lately. Ri talked about her social media presence, especially on Instagram.

“I run away from anything that does not stimulate me. I often find myself gravitating toward the underground. There is a certain creative freedom there that you can’t experience anywhere else.”

When it comes to her privacy, she doesn’t seem too concerned.

“Do I even give a d**k about that anymore?”

Rihanna’s full interview with V magazine is available May 7, but you can pre-order it now on V’s website. It’s still unclear as to when her album will finally be released.
