Reality Star Leah Messer-Calvert On Twitter: ‘Forgive Quickly’
Reality star Leah Messer-Calvert encouraged fans on Twitter to “forgive quickly.” As she and her husband, Jeremy Calvert, reportedly put an end to their marriage, the Teen Mom 2 star is remaining active on Twitter, seemingly addressing their split in a round-about manner.
On April 20, the reality star shared the following re-tweet with fans on Twitter:
“Life is short, so forgive quickly, believe slowly, love truly, laugh loudly and never avoid anything that makes you smile.”
Ever since October, the reality star has been fighting back against reports of a split. That month, her husband Calvert took to Twitter where he told fans Messer had cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd. Although Messer immediately denied the report, rumors continued to circulate, claiming the Teen Mom 2 couple would soon be divorced.
Throughout the last several months, the reality star has continuously denied divorce rumors, both with messages to fans and with photos of herself and Calvert together. On New Year’s Eve, amid rumors of an impending split, Messer shared a series of kissing photos of her and her husband, seemingly putting an end to rumors about their split. However, weeks later, the reality star was once again faced with news of a divorce between her and Calvert.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer’s husband allegedly filed for divorce in November, a short time after he accused her of cheating, and while the divorce is far from final, the petition has not been withdrawn. On April 16, Radar Online confirmed the news with the Roane County court clerk.
In early December, Kidd alleged he had an affair with the reality star during an interview with In Touch Weekly, via Radar Online.
“I asked her if she wanted to come over and talk. Leah didn’t hesitate. She came right over, and one thing led to another and we had sex. We wore protection. That was the one and only time.”
According to Kidd, who also slept with Messer hours before her wedding to first husband Corey Simms, he and the reality star often turn to one another during hard times.
“Leah felt really alone because Jeremy’s gone a lot for work. She said Jeremy doesn’t care about her or their family when he’s gone. All he wants to do is talk about sex.”
Reality star Leah Messer Calvert will return to MTV later this year in Teen Mom 2 Season 6. Her husband will also be featured.
