Is ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star Kim Richards Broke?

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards is said to be “broke” just days after her shocking arrest in Los Angeles. According to an April 20 report by Radar Online, the reality star’s daughter, Brooke Brinson, will tie the knot for a second time in the coming weeks, but sadly, she was unable to help pay for the lavish affair.

“For Brooke’s weddings, both of them, the groom’s family paid and is paying. The Weiderhorns own Fatburger and Thayer’s dad Andy is a multi millionaire, but Kim can’t afford it and Brooke’s dad Monty is supported by Kim. He’s broke too.”

In August of last year, around the time filming on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 began, Brison tied the knot with Thayer Weiderhorn in a small ceremony at the home of her aunt, Kathy Hilton, the older half-sister of Kim and Kyle Richards. However, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Brinson is planning to walk down the aisle with Weiderhorn at a second location in the next few weeks.

Last week, a source revealed the following to Radar Online in regard to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s daughter’s wedding.

“[Brooke Brinson] has been planning an over-the-top lavish wedding out of the country. The first ceremony last August was rushed because of Monty’s health. He really wanted to walk Brooke down the aisle. The ceremony was lovely, and it was so generous of Rick and Kathy Hilton to host it, but it wasn’t what Brooke had always dreamed of. The second wedding is exactly what Brooke wanted. However, with mom Kim’s arrest, there are serious concerns about it proceeding for obvious reasons.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards was arrested last Thursday, which has reportedly caused issues for Brinson. Although the wedding is expected to go on as scheduled, the concerns for Richards’ health have put a damper on the upcoming celebration.

The report also claimed the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had decided to put off rehab plans, and was using Brinson and Wiederhorn’s wedding as her excuse. No one would expect Richards to miss her own daughter’s wedding, so thinking she could enter treatment seems like a long shot — at least until after the wedding takes place.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 concludes tomorrow night, April 21, with the Unseen Moments episode at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
