The music from the 2025 American Music Awards may have been amazing, but most of the red carpet “fits” weren’t so great.Only a few weeks after the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards’ worst-dressed celebrities had us believe that no other award show red carpet this year could surpass those regrettable ensembles, the stars have shown us that we were mistaken with their glitter, feather boas, wedding veils, and numerous other poor choices.
Among these odd and unconventional fashion choices, it can be difficult to decide which is the worst, but fortunately, we are spared the task. We are pleased to appreciate each of these fashion faux pas equally.Here are some famous people with less than stellar appearances without further ado.

For artists, the American Music Awards are undoubtedly a significant event, but Rebecca Black undoubtedly values her own wedding day more. She nevertheless showed up for the big night as though it were her special day. She accessorized with a veil and donned a short, antique bridal dress-like attire. Black obviously wanted to commit to some real campiness for the evening, but it didn’t quite work out. She certainly has a sense of humor.
Kehlani

Kehlani wore almost nothing at the American Music Awards this year, as if she wasn’t sure what to wear. She was sufficiently covered by what she wore, yet it left her largely bare. Additionally, this silvery design felt a little sloppy and uninteresting, even though it may have been amazing with a different execution. This might have worked with some more intriguing draping and a stronger color.

Jason Tartick’s choice of a white suit layered over a t-shirt makes sense because there are only so many inventive and exciting ways to style a suit. However, this attempt at a distinctive suit appearance didn’t work out. The pants even seemed excessively long, and the suit seemed a little loose. Everything seemed a little flat and dull with the black shoes and buttons.

We were in awe at Heidi Montag’s look from head to toe, and for the wrong reasons. It’s tough to wear anything so eye-catching that it distracts all eyes from your sparkling blue jumpsuit, but Montag’s peculiar wig succeeded in doing just that. She accessorized this with the very surreal costume and heavy makeup. Her proportions were thrown off by the bizarre silhouette formed by the skintight pants and the odd top construction. All in all, this entire style has to be abandoned.

Jenna Johnson’s outfit was overloaded with details. The dress itself was extravagant, from the glitter to the cuts to the translucent fabric. It was not a wise decision to wear a boa with it; it was just an extra unwelcome addition. But nevertheless, all of those subtleties were overshadowed by her uncomfortably exposed bra. In the end, she would have looked much better if she had chosen something considerably simpler.
